-' 🕷 Peter slipped out of the apartment building, a small smile on his lips. Wade had fallen asleep, and though he wished he could stay, it was already past curfew. His dad's had no way of calling, that they knew of. Wade explained what they didn't know couldn't hurt them. It sounded rational, so he had called using Wade's phone. The Arachnid waited on the sidewalk for his father's navy blue car to pop up. He pressed the toe of his black converse against a crack in the sidewalk, a hum erupting from deep in his throat. That's when it rolled up, the deep blue appearing in his soft gaze.
Steve smiled up at his son, he always had his windows down. His papa loved the fresh air, and the wind sliding through his blonde locks. He smiled back, going to the passengers seat. The smile Steve held was a soft one, one that showed his disappointment. Pete didn't realize that until he got closer, his eyes gave it all away.
" Look.." Steve trailed off, deep blue eyes sliding from the window to his son. " I know how you feel about him. It's the same way I feel about your father, but baby, I don't want you hurt."
" but-"
" Please hear me out? Let me finish.."
Peter nodded, signaling for cap to go on. He saw the breath escaping the larger man's lips, he was about to say something Tony wouldn't like.
" I want you to see Wade, okay? If you love him, you should be with him. We shouldn't be able to pull you away. But you need to be careful, and if you get hurt, you have to tell us. Your dad..he just doesn't remember what it was like when we were fighting to be together."
Cap stared down at the spider lovingly, a hint of regret in his irises. " He loves you though, your dad. We both do. Aunt May and I support you, okay, Petey?"
Peter nodded, an odd expression on his face. He didn't quite understand why Steve was giving him the permission, but he was glad it happened. The Arachnid took in a breathe, and attacked the solider with a large bear hug. Steve happily held onto his son, he knew Pete could take the tight grip, but he looked so delicate.
" Just be careful, please."
" I promise, pa. I'll be careful." Peter agreed, a sad smile sliding along his expression. " And..I have something to tell you.."
" What's up, baby?"
" Wade kinda um..He got me a phone.." Peter slowly pulled the IPhone out of his pocket, he felt guilty.
" That's okay. I'll keep that a secret too.."
" I love you, papa."
" I love you too, Peter Parker-Stark."

Peter walked into the apartment, his brown eyes immediately meeting the Avengers. They held pitying expressions, like he had lost Wade. That look enraged Peter, he didn't lose. The saddest expression was from Natasha, there was no pity in those eyes. Just sadness. Mourn. She looked like she had lost Wade, that he wouldn't be back.
The Spider sucked in a breath he didn't know he was denying himself, and sunk to the room. They probably thought he ran away, like he wanted to escape. He didn't, of course, this family was all that he had besides May.
He allowed his body to fall onto the small mattress, and he bit his lip. A sense happiness welled into his stomach in the form of vibrant butterflies. Peter couldn't stop thinking about Wade, even after the man had fallen asleep. They were, in love. The mercenary had been So gentle with him, every kiss soft and sweet. Every touch held a sonnet of love, each moan like a poem emitting from their lips.
His Spider sense lit up, with the power he had thought he lost. His senses were back, heightened. Without looking up, he knew exactly do was standing behind him.
" Dad."
" Hey, kid." Tony smiled as he drew closer to his son, sitting down beside him. " I know things have been a little shaky.."
" A little?"
" Okay, okay. A lot shaky. But, I'm sorry. I acted out, and it wasn't right." Tony sighed, eyes scanning over the comforter. " I could've done better."
" That's okay, dad." Peter offered him a smile, it wasn't easy for his dad to admit he had done wrong. He would forgive him.
" Why don't we eat dinner together? As a family. You, Your pops, Me?" The genius had carefully gotten to his feet, fidgeting nervously. " What do you say?"
" I think it would be nice. "
" Alright, I'll see you in ten minutes?"
" Yeah, in ten minutes."

The three sat down at Tony's favorite burger place, Peter in front of the two men. He stared at the table through thick lashes, letting out a breath. Since he had gotten home, he felt suffocated. Like someone was holding a pillow against his face, draining the life out of his body.
Brown eyes gazed up at the news, a small T.V. in the corner of the dining room. Peter fixated on the story, the subtitles read: " Teenager found dead in alleyway, goes by Flash Thompson." Or, that was all Pete picked up on. Soft pink lips slipped into a frown, eyes going wide. The two men noticed, and cranked their necks to see what drew the reaction from their son.
" Hey uh, do you think you could change the channel?" Tony spoke up, a protective tone soaking his voice.
" Anything for you, Mr.Stark." The Woman behind the counter said softly, standing on the tips of her toes to change the channel. She settled on the discovery channel. " Is this alright?"
" Yes. Thank you very much." Steve said gently, blue eyes staring up at her gently.
Steve's hand met his husbands thigh, and they shared a worried glance. They looked back at Peter, who was surprisingly calm.
" He tried to kill me.." Peter spoke up, the lies we're leaving his lips, replacing themselves with a coat of relief. " That's how I met him. Wade."
" What?" Tony snapped, it wasn't at Peter. Not even close. It was directed toward the action, that someone could hurt his baby. " Why didn't you tell us?"
" After what he did..I just..I didn't want you guys to worry. Wade saved me that night, and now that Flash is dead.."
" Peter, next time tell us first? I know it's hard. I know he hurts.." Steve hummed, in that soft, motherly voice. His other hand slipped into Peter's. " We love you, baby. And we want to protect you.."
Peter looked odd, almost out of it. The grip on Steve's hand was tight; it reminded him of the way his son would latch onto him after a night terror. Or a panic attack. The other kids wouldn't be kind, knowing he was physically enhanced.
" Are you okay, little one?" Tony asked gently, attempting to draw his son out of that dazed stair. " Petey?"
" I've been seeing him. Wade." Pete said softly, allowing the weight to leave his chest. " And he makes ms happy, I just want to be happy."
" You aren't happy?" Tony asked gently, he knew this stare. All too well, something always happened after this stare.
" Not after Flash. I wasn't for so long.." The Freshman trailed off, swallowing the lump in his throat. " but Wade makes me happy. Happier."
" Do you want to keep seeing him?"
" I want to try, dad. I love him." The word slipped from his lips so easily it sent chills down Tony's spine.
" S.H.I.E.L.D will have a fit, but, I suppose you can see him.."
" But we have to meet him first. Dinner."
" Okay! Deal."
