-'🕸 It was like a flash, one minute Peter was there, the next he wasn't. Wade was sure this was because Peter had to go to work, that was when he woke up. It's been a week. No call, no text, no sign of forced entry. The mercenary couldn't for the life of him understand where Peter was, why he left.
He sat on the side of the mattress, scarred hands clawing at his head. Wade took in a breath, the voices hadn't stopped since he left. They screamed so loud his head pounded against his soul and the only release he could get was splattering his brains against the ceiling.
No. He couldn't do that. What if Peter came home? What if he found Wade? Or if the blood stained, Peter would ask so many questions and everything would blow up and then he would leave again.
The oddest thing was that Peter didn't take his clothes, Aunt May hadn't seen him and neither had his father's. His baby was just gone.
There were a couple times he thought he found Peter, but then he was gone. Spider-Man was doing some nasty things, reportedly wearing a black suit.
Wade let out a cry; a pained wail of regret. He wanted his baby. His arms wrapped around himself, to distract himself from empty arms. The worse part was the smell of Peter that lingered in the air, the small items left along the apartment that screamed his Petey-Pie. Items left untouched, unnoticed, unused.
His body trembled at the content reminder of his little boy. Wade allowed his body to sink on the bed, his arm traveling to his lovers side of the bed. Scarred fingertips slides over the sheets, face buried deep into his pillow. Why did he leave? He could remember the last words they exchanged, the way Peter felt. The soft whispers of praise clouded deep in his mind.
He stared for a moment at the odd space beside the wall, his hands grasping the book with a frown. Schizophrenia for dummies? Scarred fingers flipped through the pages, words were highlighted, notes littered the page to fill any white pages, book marks sticky notes.
Most of it was Peter figuring out why certain things happened, like his random outbursts. The notes mostly read; be gentle, remind him who loves him. Tears welled back in his eyes, and his shoulders shook.
Peter didn't leave on his own. Not without a goodbye, because that boy loved him. He loved Wade. Wade loved Peter.

" Mr.Stark? Wade Wilson is approaching. Should I let him in?" Friday's soft voice echoed through the lab, her tone was comforting.
" Uh..What dose he look like?" Tony mumbled, his brow cocked as he messed with a holograph in front of him.
" He looks upset, sir. Not angry, just sad. " Friday responded, a hum in her voice.
" Yeah, let him in." Iron Man's voice was soft, he didn't like Wade but he too needed healing. " Please."
" Yes, Mr.Stark."
It didn't take long for Wade to carry his aching body through the elevator doors. Big blue eyes burned with tears, his lips trembling furiously. Tony's heart sank at the look of the mercenary, an ache in his stomach. This wasn't right. Wade was happy, even in the worst of times he was here to crack a joke.
" Wade." The genius whispered, pity slowly welling in his stomach. Like a peach pit stuck deep in his gut. " You look like shit.."
" cut the shit. " Wade wiped the salty tears from his burning cheeks. Scars deep red, eyes hooded like he hadn't slept. " I..I have something. Proof."
" What?"
" Proof that Peter didn't leave because of me, that he didn't mean to leave."
" What is it?"
" I did some digging around the apartment. I thought there was no forced entry but I found something..somethings.." Wade hummed, pulling a manilla envelope from his pocket to drop on the table.
" What..?"
" I have reason to believe venom might be apart of this, with an accomplice, of course. " Wade watched Tony gaze over the evidence, the pictures. He stared at the book Wade had slammed down, but the large man shoved a protective hand over it. " This is not evidence. This is just..just his thoughts, Peter's..my baby.."
" What do we do now?" Tony asked softly, brown eyes slowly looking up at him.
" We go after those tickets. Well, I do. With or without you." The mercenary hummed, watching the way Tony nodded quickly.
" Yes."
" Then we start now."
" No other avengers."
" Agreed."
