-'🕷 Peter clutched his backpack close, as he took off down the street. The small boy didn't know why he was so upset, and he didn't know why he let so fast. His heart was thumping wildly in his chest, as he approached the Avengers Tower. The Arachnid didn't want to go home to May, he couldn't lie to her. His shaky hands combed through his chestnut hair, and he took in a deep breathe as he slipped through the main doors.
Peter Parker took in a deep breathe, the oxygen shoving through his lungs, a harsh sting slipping down his airways. The brunette went to the elevator, and pressed the tenth floor.
" Peter Benjamin Parker, Spider-Man. Gold access granted." Friday spoke softly to the teenager as the doors closed him in. " Your stress levels are high, Peter. Would you like me to start up a pot of coffee?"
" Yes please.." He whispered softly, his lids sliding shut. The Arachnid leaned against the wall, his hands clawing at his chest, his binder felt suffocating.
As soon as the doors opened, his puppy dog eyes were met by three familiar faces.
" Someone finally decided to show his face at home, huh?" Tony's voice rang harshly, eyebrow cocking as he looked down at Peter. Steve didn't say anything yet, his muscular arms crossed over his chest. Cap was good cop.
" What were you thinking?! Not showing up at home? Not checking in? Not answering calls?" May never yelled at Peter, because she never had to before. " Peter Benjamin Parker, we deserve an explanation!"
Peter didn't say a word, he could feel his sensory levels spiking, and the static beginning to surround his body. He swallowed hard, attempting to keep himself from tearing up.
" Pete? What's wrong?" Steve stepped closer, eyebrows furrowing, his hand on the small boys shoulder.
" We aren't done punishing him-"
" Tony, look at him.."
The teenager felt the tears slip from his thick lashes, slipping down his freckled cheeks. His shoulders drooped sadly, and tbe three parental figures pulled him close.
" Lets get you into bed, May and I will make you feel better pancakes." Steve offered with a small smile, gently rubbing his back.
The teenager only nodded as he cuddled up to the three, clinging onto then tightly. Tony was the last to pull away from the Arachnid, he looked almost sadder then Pete did. His sorrow was only because he was worried about his son.
The three watched as Peter dragged himself into his room in the compound. He didn't usually spend as much time in this room, even though it was so much more roomy then the his other one. Pete tossed himself onto the bed, tugging the maroon hood over his head. The hoodie smelled of Wade, who surprisingly, smelled amazing.
He fell asleep that night cuddled close to the pillow beside him, the tears staining his face. Steve, Tony, and May didn't wake him up, he looked too tired to be awakened, and too fragile to hold a conversation.
May came in to gently rub his back as he slept, pushing a strand of chestnut hair out of his face. Her brown eyes narrowed to the Spider-Man suit hanging out of his bookbag and she shook her head. May's little Peter had always been bad at lying, she knew about Spider-Man. The woman leaned over to softly kiss his cheek, before leaving the room with a satisfied hum. He would be okay, she knew he would.

The strong vibration from Peter's phone was what woke him up in the middle of the night. He sat there, staring up at the wall as the unknown number called again, and again. Spider-Man grumbled, grabbing the phone, his vision blurred with tiredness as he answered the phone.
" Hello?" His voice was scratchy as he slowly sat up. Pete rubbed his eyes, his skin burned with the tears.
" I made a mistake. " Deadpool spoke softly, scratching his head as he spoke to Peter.
" I know." He said bluntly, biting his bottom lip.
" Peter, you don't want to see what's under my mask.." He trailed off, a soft sigh leaving his lips. " A buddy once told me I look like an avocado fucked an even uglier avocado-"
" Wade.." Peter spoke softly, rubbing his cheeks. " I got mad at you, and I lashed out, I know. But my identity is really important-"
[ why is he being so persistent? He ran. ]
[ Because he didn't want to run.]
[ But he did.]
[ And he didn't mean too.]
" Wade? I really like you and.." He frowned softly, fidgeting on the bed. "if I never get to meet the man behind the mask, how are we supposed to stay friends?"
The boxes were silent, and Wade couldn't think without them yapping at him. He let out a soft sigh, and his eyes narrowed.
" If you see my face, promise me you won't run?"
" I promise, Wade Wilson."
" Then, I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked softly, usually he'd make a shitty joke, and surprisingly he hadn't made one throughout the entire conversation. Maybe he was too focused on Peter.
" I'll see you tomorrow.."
Peter was the first to hang up, his heart thumping in his chest. He gave Wade a contact in his phone: " Asshole 😻" seemed to be the most fitting. He was never that direct with anyone, but he wanted to be with Wade. His eyes were wide open, and he looked down at his phone.
Asshole 😻: Technically it's tomorrow.

Asshole 😻: Send me your address, get your suit on, and we can meet now.
Asshole 😻: I can pick you up, and then I can see your cute little butt.
Spider-Babe ❤💛💚💙💜: Yeah, okay. But I'm really tired.
Asshole 😻: That's okay, you're a cute sleeper.
Peter sent his address to Wade, and began to tug his suit on from his backpack, he pulled a hoodie on over the top, Wade's hoodie and his converse. He slipped his mask on and sat at on the edge of his bed. Pete let out a giggle, remembering that Wade had Hello Kitty sheets. He tried to keep himself awake, ignoring the yawn escaping him and the tears that welled up when he yawned.
He prayed Wade would come soon, because he was close to falling right back to sleep.
