Helen's POV

Our English teacher let us out late, so Gino and I literally ran to Social Science. Luckily, we got there before the bell rang. "Hello, class," Mr. Eggmund said after the bell rang. "I have a seating chart, so please stand by the wall so I can tell you where you sit." Awww, another seating chart. Please be by Gino, please be by Gino. "DeCarlo, Helen," Mr. Eggmund called. I quickly walked to my seat, which was in the back. Please sit next to Gino, please sit by Gino. "Rogers, Easton," Mr. Eggmund calls, pointing to the seat next to me. I groan, and lay my head on my desk. "Wow, someone's happy to see me," I hear a male voice say. I just ignore him. "Well, maybe when you look up and see me, you'll change your mind," he says. I ignore him again. Suddenly, I feel someone's head on my back. I keep ignoring them. Then, the person starts drawing shapes on my back. My head shoots up like a rocket, and I turn around to see Easton. He-he's hot. That's all I can say. "So, whatdaya think?" Easton asks me, noticing that I was scanning him. "I've seen better," I shrug, and turn around to Mr. Eggmund, who already started the lesson. About halfway through class, Easton gets bored and starts drawing shapes on my back again. I flinch at his touch, and he seems to notice that too. "You scared?" he whispers in my ear. "Nah," I say, shoving him out of my face. He touches my back again, and again, I flinch. "I think you are," he whispers, and removes his finger from my back.

As soon as class was over, I ran from it and to the gym, trying to avoid Easton. Unfortunately, that didn't work, because Easton has P.E. with me. "Helen!" Gino yells, running up to me, out of breath and sweaty. Gino is not good with running. I've seen him run his mile, and trust me, it's not pretty. After one lap, he puked, sprained his ankle, was sweating like a pig, and could not talk. It's kind of sad. "Why the cheeseballs did you RUN here?!" Gino demands. I shrug. "I was trying to avoid Easton," I say. Gino shakes his head.

After P.E., Gino is returned to the state he was in when he ran after me, sweaty and out of breath, and Easton failed to catch up with me during intervals. Sucker.

The rest of the day is really boring. I meet the rest of my teachers, who don't have seating charts, eat lunch and dinner, and avoid Easton, who has every class except for Math and English with me. After school, I go to my one person dorm, which I was lucky enough to get, and sleep for a while.

I wake up from my well deserved nap to a knock on the door. Grumbling, I get up and answer the door. Easton is there. Easton looks at my current state and starts laughing. I narrow my eyes at him and cross my arms. "You look terrible," he says. "I think I got that," I snap at him. He starts laughing again. "Why are you here?" I ask. "Oh yeah," Easton says, stopping his laughing. "Get ready. We're going to the movies in one hour."
