The following day, I decided to still continue my work to the Ligneri-Blanc Family office.

I feel ashamed for my reckless behavior yesterday. I just ran out like a dog being chase with a stick. I wonder what Boss thinks of me now. He will sure to underestimate me more.

As I reached the ninth floor, I stop for a second to catch my breath.

The phone on my pocket vibrates and a large name appears on screen. Bliss.

"What do you want?" I barked. I've put my bag on the dining room's counter and took a seat on a nearby chair.

"Blythe! I'm glad to hear your voice. How's everything there?"

I let out a dry laugh. "You want to know how Im going by? Well Im in hell! and I still didn't forgive you for this so if you're planning to visit me one of these days, oh heavens forbid me for the wonderful things you're about to experience."

"Can you just pretend you want to see me? Im calling overseas you know."

"You're overseas? Where?"

"I'll tell you everything when I get back."

I sigh. "Of all the things you've done to me, do you think I want to just listen to your damn stories?"

I was about to hang up but he shouted over the line.

"Blythe wait!... I just called to say that I miss you."

His voice sounded so. I feel guilty.

I did not say anything for a moment. I just listen to the sound of his breathing. Even though Im pissed with my brother, nothing can ever question my love for him.

"I really miss you too..."

He laughs, cheerfully. "What souvenir do you want sister?"

I regretted what I just said and hang off the line.

"Is that your boyfriend?" said the voice from behind.

I turn around. Uggh! Of all people.

The boss was sitting comfortably drinking an orange shake on one of the tables. Why did I not notice him when I took a seat earlier?

"Did he dump you?" he teased. "He wants to get you back?"

"Don't tell me you really had a degree in psychology." I reprimanded.

He chuckle. "You little doll, still got the guts to work here huh."

"Yeah, I made my word with you. I will stay here until 376 days over... so if you'll excuse me boss, I've got chores to do."

With that I left him using the main dining room door and saw a gorgeous brunette girl enters the back door. He got great taste, I thought.

I proceed to the kitchen to prepare meals for this evening. With the refrigerator holding every ingredients I need, I drown myself in cooking, softly reciting the lesson I've memorized this afternoon.

Mint and August appears and sniff the area.

"That sure smells delicious Blythe, what do we got today?" says August.

I smiled. "Spicy lamb stew, some veggies and Im going to make fruit smoothies."

"I can't wait already." Mint said and turn to August. "This kid's an expert in everything, I never known any guy who can cook better than him."

We laugh.

They helped me prepare the meals afterwards and the big boys starts to fill the dining hall. Boss even join us today.

They all complimented my spicy lamb stew.

"Here you go boss," I said, smiling. He looks at me and raise an eyebrow. I return the gesture.

"This is so delicious Blythe!"

"Will I forget my name after I finish this bowl kid?"

"Can I marry you little guy?" one shouted and those around him hit him on the head.

"You fool!"

I put my hands on my waist and laugh out loud myself. I can't help but admire my own awesomeness. "Hahaha"

If the room didn't fell silent as the boys stop eating, watching me laugh my head off in front, I wouldn't realize Im acting stupid.

I cleared my throat and they resume eating.

After Im done with the chores, I fetched my notebooks and step into the office. The boss and the brunette are sitting in the sofa, kissing. They stop when they notice me. The brunette clinging to boss's neck.

"Go on." I smile and head towards my corner in the entertainment area.

The boys were all gathered, messing with everything. Throwing things here, shouting at the video games they're playing, laughing at dumb jokes. Man, I felt like I just entered a mental institution.

My regular spot during this hour is at the far right corner. I've been provided a study table with a lampshade. But the noise..

The noise's freaking me out.

Since Im on the final semester, the lectures had turn all difficult while my time gets fewer for me to spend in studying. If I ever got one failing grade, my scholarship will slip...

I stood up and shout at the top of my lungs. "How the hell am I going to understand what Im reading?!!"

Finally that caught the attention of the boys, they fell silent, staring at me with surprise.

I glared at them and they all look down. When I walk at their center I rest my left foot on the sofa and crossed my arms on my chest.

"Does any of you even have an idea how hard economics is?" I shouted.

"Economi--"

"Shut up, don't talk back!?" I barked.

"But the guy's not talking back Blythe." Jene whispered.

"If I say he's talking back, HE'S FRIGGIN' TALKING BACK!"

That got them.

They fell frozen like that as if their mother reprimand them after playing under the sun all day.

Whoa! For the first time since I work here, I finally got two hours of silence, studying at the corner.
