CHAPTER XVI

I move to Boss Cheston's place the following day.

Mint and Bruce help me with some of my belongings. I didn't bring everything with me since this arrangement will only last of six months. I'll move the instance I get my house back.

Bliss sounds worried when I call him this morning. I decided to tell him what happened since its his house too. I informed Mr. Jayden of the matters too and he told me to just hang in and be patient to where I am at the moment.

Mr. Jayden is the boss of our Family's remaining headquarter at the district. He's seven years older than me. He and Mr. Jonathan did their best to maintain that office, submitting annual reports to me and making necessary changes. Bliss and I were suppose to live with them after Gregory died but I don't want to leave this house that had been our central office before, so every now and then they just visits us to see how we got by.

I feel despondent leaving that house for the meantime but I need to work much harder if I want to get it back as soon as possible.

Work hard?

I felt a cold sensation crawl on on my nape as I think of it. How will I work hard for the man Im buried six feet below the ground in debts.

That will require bringing him pleasure and pleasure in a sense of...

I growl. Mint and Bruce glance at me.

"Kid, are you sure you're well by now?" says Bruce.

I smile and says that I'm fine as a cow and Mint says that my metaphor doesn't make any sense.

Boss Cheston immediately order Mint and Bruce to leave as soon as they carried my belongings to Boss Cheston's room.

"Thanks Mint, Bruce.." I said. "Boss, I should at least make them--"

He rush and wrap me in his arms. "I can't believe you're here little doll." he said and kiss me.

I let him kiss me since we're lovers now but at least he should know.."Boss! let me breathe!!"

He chuckles. I push him away and starts unpacking my clothes.

"Seriously? You don't own any female outfits?"

I shook my head. "I have few at the house.."

"Any night gowns?"

"Boss, you're a pervert!"

I cook for him afterwards and we head to the office together.

"Where are you going?" I asked because he seems to climb the stairs with me. "Take the elevator boss.."

Inattentive as he is, he climbs the stairs with me, holding my hand, dragging me to my feet because I keep saying that he moves a little away from me since the employees who glances at us starts throwing glares on me. I'm wearing my brother's outfit and their handsome boss holding my hand? Crazy.

When we're about to reach the ninth floor he pin me to the wall and kiss me there.

"Boss... stop.."

"How long are you going to make me wait just to have you?" he whispered, his voice not even trying to hide the excitement.

I felt my cheeks grew warm. "I told you... I can't do it with you.."

"Why?" he frown and held my waist closer. "Hmmm. Don't worry I'll marry you if you get pregnant.."

I shove him away and starts walking ahead. "Boss... the truth is, I will never get pregnant or anything..." Its true I had a disease that made me different from other women. I have irregular periods and needs medicine to induce menstruation. My OB-Gyne says that I will have difficulty conceiving a child and worse, I may never have the ability to do so.
