While we were hiding underneath a counter, I could hear Dustin yelling through the radio in the distance. "Mike, What are you doing?" I whisper as he looks over the counter.
"It's turned away. If we go up the stairs now, we'll make it." He tells me and Max.
"No way, not with El's leg," I tell him and Max agrees.
"We have to try." He says but El tells him there is another way.
"Through the gap." She says and we nod our heads.
"Okay." Mike grabs El's hand running and Max and I do the same.
Rushing through the opening El knocks things over and we rush even quicker to hide now. While we were hiding the creature throws a manikin in the same clothes as El, which lands right next to us startling us. "We gotta move." I take the lead and we hide again but I had to be a little farther from them because there was no room for me. I see one of the things tentacles right next to them and Max looks at me scared. I put my finger over my lips so she keeps quiet.
The sound of a balloon popping makes the creature move away and we make a run for it. "Let's go." Mike grabs El and I follow behind them. We take the back ways and just keep running.

The other group runs outside trying to get the car to start. Nancy stands next to the car pointing her gun at Billy and shoots as he speeds towards them. "Steve, who's that?" Robin asks seeing a car speed towards the others. Steve I slam his foot down on the gas pedal again crashing into Billy's car sending him away.
"Are you okay?" Steve wanted to make sure Robin was fine.
"Ask me tomorrow." She simply says as snarling makes the both of them look up at the mall to see the creature.
"Get in!" Nancy yells and they get in the car.
"Go, go, go, go, go!" Steve tells Jonathan to drive then something hits Steve. Where were Skylar, Mike, El, and Max? "Umm, why are four people are missing?" Steve asks them.
"They ran a separate way. Don't worry Steve, they can take care of themselves. Plus that thing is following us thinking El is with us." Nancy says from the front seat.
"Steve, remember Skylar is a smart girl. She'll get out safe." Robin touches his knee before they all hear Dustin and Suzie on the radio talking about Planck's constant. She refuses to tell him the number since he hasn't talked to her so he has to make it up to her now.
After listening to Dustin and his girlfriend sing Never Ending Story, they get the number Hopper needed. As they continue to drive Steve sees the creature turn around. "It's turning around!" He shouts at Jonathan. "What?" Nancy asks.
"It's turning around!" Steve shout at them again.
Steve closes his eyes and Robin grabs his hand, "Don't worry too much Steve. Skylar will take care of herself and the kids." He just nods his head wanting to get to the mall quickly.
