Two hundred and fifty pesos in her wallet. Earned it from selling some of her books and some are from her savings. Going to the mall to finally buy her cousin a gift. Her cousin is a big part of her book. She felt how she's growing especially now that she realized next week will be her cousin's first day for work. She was invited to his birthday which would be celebrated earlier than the exact date.

She already had an exact item to buy as a gift. But finding out the price made her look for another item instead. And seriously, She couldn't find any. Buying a gift for a guy is harder than she thought. They decided to go to the bookstore for just a random window shopping since it is one of her favorite parts of the mall.

Seeing one of her books that is on her wishlist made her want to use her money to buy something for herself instead. Honestly, she solemnly does that. She usually saves money for no exact reason and spends it either for an emergency or for a gift. Just like now. But she decided to bring back the book to its shelf and decided to not give up looking for another gift that would fit her budget. She ended up buying two pairs of iconic socks.

Her actions are reflected in her personality. She is usually selfless when it comes to decisions. She would always choose the path that she knows could benefit others who are important to her instead of choosing a path that could benefit her.

Others, who only know her by name but not as who she is may think she's just this ordinary and typical teenage girl around the corner. A girl who yet still has to reach the stage of maturity. People may judge her in different identities and makeup stories. But behind all of that is a wise soul.
