Dance moms season 8: Brady and Siobhan

Part 56

Siobhan's POV
It was Wednesday and today we were at the ALDC in Pittsburgh, Miss Abby yelled out to us "Kids, lets go" us kids walked into studio A wearing baseball inspired Aldc tops that were red and black and us girls were also wearing black leggings while Brady wore black tracksuit pants with black and white shoes, I was in between Brady and Pressley we then stood in a line with the moms on the side and Miss Abby said to us "When I walked into the dressing room and I heard all the commotion and all the chaos once again, I decided not to give out the jackets because I wanted the jackets to be a joyous occasion but today is not joyous" Abby then started to cry and she said "A dear friend of mine Diana had a problem last night, her heart stopped working and they had to shock her heart 7 times, they put her uhh into a medically induced coma" I felt like I was about to cry Diana did my makeup for my solo watch me fly it was my first solo that I won my age category against Maddie at a competition, Brady rubbed my back before Miss Abby said "You know I say everyone's replaceable but sometimes you don't want to replace people, you want those good eggs with you all the time"

Miss Abby then said "So I feel horrible, I am just heart sick over it and I would like to get on with it so no pyramid and if I need to be there and I need to be by her side, I will go" Miss Abby then said "D was with me, finding the right person to create the jackets from starch, to make those jackets and for them to be exactly what I wanted them to be so I'm going to give the jackets out, I said that I would pick one dancer from each duet, I thought long and hard about that decision, the first jacket is going to Lilly" Everyone clapped for Lilly as she grabbed the jacket and Miss Abby and her shared a hug as Lilly said thank you to Miss Abby, Lilly then stood back into her spot in the line and Miss Abby said "Lilly, she showed the ability to dance without arms and be so impressive with the legs the arms didn't matter, she has proven herself in a duet, she has proven herself in the group, she deserves a jacket" I then looked at Brady's face and he looked sad because he didn't get a jacket and Lilly did I then whispered to him "You'll get one, one day I know you will" "Thanks babe" "Your welcome babe" I then turned my attention back to Miss Abby and she said "The second official team member getting her jacket today is Pressley" Everyone then clapped for Pressley as she walked up to Miss Abby and she received her jacket from her and she hugged her and she said thank you before going back into the line next to me Miss Abby then said to Pressley "Pressley, you've never been invisible, I just know when I need to be hard on a kid and when I think there's more for a kid to give, I'm going to keep pushing and pushing and pushing until I get it" "Thank you" Ashley said to Miss Abby before Miss Abby said to Pressley "We just have to get those scores up, we need you to be that overall high score winner and not just placing"

Miss Abby then said "I have thought long and hard about this decision as well, who is going to be the dance captain of this team?, I've thought about it for a very long time ever since this season started and there is one dancer that rosed up and became a leader and she was the person that led the team to her first group dance as a leader, this person has proven to me time and time again that they deserve a jacket and they deserve to be the dance captain of this team so the third and final person receiving her jacket today and is a officially team member and is the dance captain of this team is..." we all stood in silence waiting for Miss Abby to say who it was, Miss Abby then said "Siobhan" I was shocked I really was shocked Miss Abby chose me to be the dance captain I then walked up and I got my jacket off her and Miss Abby and I shared a hug and I said "Thank you" to her Miss Abby then said to me "Your welcome sweetheart" I then stood back in my line position before Miss Abby said to us "Siobhan has proven to me time and time again, she works hard, she led the team to our first group dance win without Brady, she's won with all of her solos and duets, she's amazing to work with, the dance captain role does not mean they are the best dancer on the team, they stand out as a dancer, they pay attention to detail in the choreography and they are confident and not bossy and people look up to them, that's what a dance captain is and Siobhan is the dance captain of this team, when I first met her I thought that she could be a star one day and look at her now, she's acting in a movie, she's a shining star now, she's winning with her solos and her duets but it all comes down to her training, I was tough on her back when I first met her because she needed some tough love, she proved to me that if you work harder then most other people you will get things given to you, she couldn't like do 30 pirouettes for example and she could only do 15 and I told her one week that if you don't do 30 pirouettes by the end of the next week you are not coming and competing in the competition and so she did, she is special in my eyes, I sometimes think of her not only as the new Maddie but also as the new Siobhan, she grew up, she stepped up and she became the person who she is today and I proud of that"
Miss Abby then said "Alright this week, we are traveling to New Jersey to attend New York dance experience" We then clapped at that and my mom said "Yay long bus ride" Miss Abby then said "We are defiantly on the road to nationals right now today I start looking for who will represent the ALDC at nationals so this week we have three solos the first solo goes to Pressley, it's called All or nothing, Hannah you are performing the second solo, the name of your solo is Hannibal, you are portraying the life of a capable" my mom then said "She's going to bite her way to the top" Miss Abby then said "The last solo goes to Siobhan, Siobhan, your solo is entitled Dreams come true" Miss Abby then said to Hannah and Pressley "Hannah and Pressley both of you have this opportunity to prove to me that you should do a solo at nationals" Miss Abby then said to all of us "The group routine, the title is the chosen one, now we're down a dancer so I dug through my old audition files and I invited a few dancers here, their actually audition will be learning the the group routine, we will be observing all these other dancers fit" Miss Abby then said to us "One of the young dancers that's waiting to come in that's auditioning is Hannah's little brother, what if I have the wrong sibling on the team?" Hannah then said to Miss Abby "Well I think you have the right one so" Hannah then lifted her shoulders up and down and Miss Abby said "Alright good that's the confidence that I need, that's the confidence you must have as a dancer" Miss Abby then said to Brady and I "Brady and Siobhan you guys would like to tell everyone something, am I correct?" I then said "Yes for those of you who don't know that Brady and I broke up last week but thanks to the help of the girls...." "We got back together on Sunday while filming the dance party videos" Brady said finishing it off for me "Aww" Everyone went and they were so happy that we started dating again Miss Abby then said to Brady "Brady, no more yelling at her, you treat Siobhan well and you don't blame her for things yes?" Brady nodded at that before Miss Abby said to me "Siobhan don't ever break up with him the same room the next time when you two have to break up take him to another room, yell in his face and slap him if you want to" I nodded at that before Miss Abby said to the moms "Alright lets go, you guys are out get upstairs"

After the moms left Lilly, Pressley and I put our team jackets in our dance bags in the dancers den before joining the others in a warm up and six kids walked in with their moms and one of them was wearing a leotard from Lilly's oh la la dance wear.

Third persons POV
Meanwhile with the moms upstairs...
Ann was talking for William and Joanne said "Is she talking for William?, yes she is" "Omg" the moms said Ashley then said about a woman next Ann "This one's got on a skin tight black dress" Stacey then said "Oh Ashley we don't like that we don't want to have any Baywatch competition" "Whatever" Ashley said Stacey then said "We have a JoJo wannabe on the corner there, do you see the size of the bow?" "Yikes" Ashley said

In studio A...
Abby said to the six new kids and their moms "So what we're going to do today is we're going to put you in the group dance, your going to learn the choreography right now and that's going to be your audition because these kids need to learn a group dance and compete this weekend and then as the day goes on I'm going to cut some people and uh we'll see what we have left, ok?, moms I'm going to send you upstairs, be careful, you wanna leave alive"

The moms went upstairs and they sat down and Abby said to the kids "The story is the chosen one, this is about a town, they pick someone by using a lottery the winner is sacrificed to be stoned to death so that all the other towns people will have good crops"

Meanwhile with the moms...
Stacey said "It's funny how she's talking about sacrificing one when she's supposed to be picking one to stay, it makes me happy that Lilly and Siobhan both got jackets this week" One of the moms who's kid was auditioning for the team said "What are the jackets?" Ashley then explained to her "None of the kids actually have had team jackets up until today so Abby gave out the first three team jackets to permeant members of the team and Lilly got one, Pressley got one and Siobhan got one and Siobhan just got the title of dance captain for the team" "Oh that's awesome congratulations"
