Friday Morning arrived , It was game time.
I was sitting on the edge of my bed with nothing on except my socks & heart boxers. My phone vibrated by my side. I turned my head to look who it was & it was written Private Caller
I clicked my tongue & shook my head as I took the phone & answered the call
"Asghedom's phone . Who am I speaking to."
"Yo ,man it's Bobby from work."
"Yo what up , Bobby?"
"Nothing.... I just wanted to tell you that I think it's time you dusted off your CV & started looking for another job."
"Wait , What?"
"They told me to pass the news . You're fired , man. Sorry."
"Sure , I got it. Thanks Bobby." I Said & I quickly hung up. I got mad & threw my phone across my bedroom. Now I'm fucking jobless I don't think they even gonna pay me for the days I worked
Someone was knocking on my door . Must be Lisa "Doors unlocked." I said loudly the door opened & Lisa cane in with red eyes & frizzy hair. She was still wearing her onesie pajamas & holding her teddy bear.
"Ermais.. I'm really worried about Shane . I know you're not , but I am." I kept quiet & looked the other way. "I just saw the news , they said 5 teenagers were found dead in a tattoo parlor. What if Shane was one of them?" She was whimpering her words
"Then God rest his stupid soul." I said looking the other way with a frown
"Don't you say that!"
"Look , Lisa. I got more problems to worry about. I don't got time to play daddy with some teenager going through puberty. Shane knows where we live. We ain't kick him out . If he wants to come back , he'll come back & if he's dead then , sorry for your loss."
"What more could be important than your brother missing?!" She shouted with a breaking voice
"The brother I never knew I had...." I said calmly
"What?" She scoffed
I got up from my bed & looked at Lisa "You heard me . I just met Mr Eli Asghedom's first born child. Yeah that's right , Dad has another kid with another woman & he didn't even know about it."
"Ermias-
"His name is David . Met him two days ago at uhm... uhm" I stuttered & scratched my nose " uhm some place. But yeah he came up to me & told me straight that we brothers & he's actually legit."
"What if he's lying to?"
"Why would I lie? I saw his face , Lisa. He looked just like dad...."
She was speechless after that , even had her hand covering her mouth. "Oh my..." she softly said
"Yeah , oh my indeed. So if you think I give a damn about Shane and his teenage issues. You got it mistaken , honey." I told her with an intimidating attitude.
I walked past Lisa & went straight to the bathroom to take a bath.
