Anastasia's POV
"Happy birthday, Boy of steel!" I shout when I see him, bursting into the mountain through the zeta-tube. I sprint over to him easily lifting him up in my arms like he's a feather, and I twirl around much to his annoyance.
I'm sure he's glad no one else wakes up around here at this hour.
"Anastasia please put me down." He just full named me, he must really not be into the festivities this year. Not that he ever is of course, but I'm sure since this is his first birthday without M'gann he's not handling it the best.
"C'mon, don't be a party pooper. You're sixth birthday is really important." I coo setting him down, but then I ruffle his hair like he actually is a small child. "Why are you like this?" He groans trying to fix his hair.
"I think the question is why do you still hang out with me?" I ask already making my way to the kitchen since I skipped breakfast to get here early. I knew he wouldn't want me making a scene in front of the entire team.
"I don't, you just keep following me," he deadpans but when I turn around he's smirking a little. I hope I made his day a little better.

Persephone's POV
I run a brush through my practically white hair groaning as it catches on another knot. I have no waves or curls, so I'm not sure how my long straight hair always tangles. Most of the time I pull back into a messy ponytail because I'm never in the mood to deal with it, but today is Ana and Raquel's bridal shower so I want to look nice.
Suddenly my door is thrown open scaring me half to death, but when I jump and let go of my brush it stays stuck in my hair. I stare eyes wide as Bart surveys my room for a minute a look of confusion crossing his face before he realizes this is not where he wants to be.
"I'm so sorry this place is so huge I'm always getting lost," he groans throwing his head back. "It's all right, I got lost all the time as well when I first moved here." I admit pulling my door back to inspect the damage that throwing it open at that speed caused.
I actually cringe for the poor knob that's twisted, and half on the ground while the rest is barely hanging on. He whistles like a sinking rocket as he comes around the corner, and sees the discombobulated knob.
Silently I reach my hand out red pisonic energy lifting the screws and loose pieces as I do, while my other holds the actual knob straight. Slowly I get it put back together, and it looks like nothing happened.
When I turn to face my guest, who technically isn't a guest, I see that he's just staring at me like I've grown another head staying oddly still for a boy with superspeed. "Everything alright?" I snap only feeling slightly guilty when he jumps, and it's like someone flipped his switch because he starts to fidget again.
"Yeah it's just... I don't know you," he explains his green eyes narrowing as he looks me up and down. "Well that would make sense I don't know you either." I state in a duh tone trying to force a smile, and silence the voice in the back of my head that's growing more aggravated as minutes pass.
"No, I'm... I'm from the future I know everyone... But you." He looks up right into my eyes, and I guess that would explain why he's not afraid. Even people, with the exception of a few, are hesitant around me. It's not blaringly obvious, and I can only tell because people never used to act that way.
It's just small things, they don't stand as close, they consider each word carefully when speaking, or they look anywhere but at my eyes. Something about the red is intimidating I suppose.
