If I'm completely honest, I'd probably rewrite a good chunk of this story if given the chance, but I leave it up so I can use it as a reminder of how I've grown. Like seriously. Some of my earlier stuff I cringe at just because the ideas were different than what I'd have done now.

I based the exchange student aspect based on some personal aspects of my life. I had Korean exchange students come to my school way back when, so that definitely helped shape some of the story.

The real reason why I had the proposal so early is because, well, I'm not a good planner. I wanted it to be in front of a crowd, and I honestly didn't plan the PAX thing. It's one of the bigger regrets I have. That and the lemon occurring so early. Should've waited a bit but I was being pressured to back then and I wanted to please.
