Chapter 25: Home Again

(A/n) So the majority would like me to do the parents chapter now, and so I will. Don't worry you Police chapter voters. You'll get it as a flashback, as well as a teaser of what happened in the beginning of this chapter. Without further ado, let's get going into the story.

You sighed with relaxation as you plopped yourself down on one of the seats aboard the transport. What a fight that was. Who knew an omnic attack would've happened while you were trying to catch two criminals? Then there was the appearance of the Shrike and Soldier: 76. You couldn't believe those two were the legendary Ana Amari and Jack Morrison, respectively.

You look to your left and see Junkrat tinkering with a few things before having them swiped away from Roadhog.

"Oi! Roadie! What's the deal?" He yelled.

"No tinkering here. We're in the air. You're 'tinkering' usually ends in an explosion of some sort." The big guy says.

"There wasn't going to be an explosion....Okay maybe a small one."

You smirk to yourself and look to your right to see Hana walk over and sit next to you. She hands you a soda and you thank her.

"What a day." You say as you lean your head back.

"Tell me about it. Some of the most intense fighting I've ever done. I'm glad the Shrike and Soldier: 76 showed up." Hana says as she drinks some of her soda.

"Yeah. Sorry you had to lose your mech, by the way."

"Oh it's fine. I've got plenty more."

"You sure? You seemed to have worked on that one quite a bit."

"Yeah. I mean, I liked it, but my pink one is my favorite."

"Of course it is."

She smiles at that and you two clink your soda bottles together. You see Ana walk out of the cockpit with Jack and you both give them your full attention, standing up and saluting them. Ana and Jack both chuckle at your reactions.

"It's been a while since we gott that respect, hasn't it Jack?" Ana says.

"It sure has. Anyway, good job out there, D.va and (gamertag). You guys were heroes out there." Jack says.

"Thank you." Hana says.

"So, it's true Overwatch is back, correct?" Ana says.

"Yes. It's been back for a year or two." You say.

"Do you think it's time we revealed ourselves to our former teammates, Jack?"

He sighs and looks out the window of the transport. "I don't know. Is the world ready for Overwatch to be in full swing again?"

"I think it is." You say. "And today is an example of why the world needs us."

"Yeah. We were able to save plenty of people in Sydney today thanks to you guys. Same goes to you Roadhog and Junkrat. You guys were heroes today." Hana says.

Junkrat blushes "Aww shucks. You flatter us."

"All we did was kill bots." Roadhog says.

"Yes, and by killing those bad bots, you saved several people. The police, (y/n) and I couldn't have done it without you guys. So I know I can't decide whether the two of you should join, but I hope you see how much the world needs you."

"We'll join!" Junkrat exclaims.

"Oh you guys were already going to be part of it whether you liked it or not. Unless you want the latter." You say.
