Chapter 5 - Heaven

Third person's POV

Voice: "Emily, you're not dead. I brought you here to tell the truth. I can't lie to you anymore. The guilt is eating me... this feeling is killing me.

"Who are you?", Emily asked with an unsteady voice.

Voice: "You know deep inside who I am. You knew me your whole life. I've always been there for you... I'll always be there for you even if I'm dead. No matter what happens. You're still the most important person in my life. If I could I would do it over and over again."

"Tyler? How is this possible... I think I'm going crazy. This can't be true.. I thought you're gone?"

"I may be dead but I will still look out for you."

"A-are you a ghost?"

"No. You could never hug a ghost.", he smiled.

At the same time he went over to Emily until he was standing as close to her as possible. Emily was happy, terrified and of course completely confused.

"Where are you? I just can feel your presence but I can't see you.."

"You have to believe that I'm not dead. I know it's not easy but that's the only option to see me."

"How?"

"Just think about me. And about the things we did when we were younger."

Emily closed her eyes and thought about the one night they snuck out of the house to visit the hidden gardens. They had so much fun that they cried from laughing. This memory is the most precious one of them both. Nobody can take this from them.

She opened her eyes and saw him. Right in front of her. She couldn't believe it. There he was, standing here like on the day before the accident. She ran into his open arms and hugged him like she never did before. But something was different.

"Oh Emily. I missed you soo much. You have no idea how happy I am to see you again, to hold you again." A few tears ran down Tyler's face when he said those words.

"It's good to see you too big brother."

Emily took a deep breath and asked a little bit scared, "You mentioned something about telling me the truth. About what?"

"The truth about me. And Dad. About what we are."

"What do you mean with 'About what you are'? You are scaring me."

"I didn't mean to scare you. I promise you it's nothing terrible. I made peace with it and I think you will understand."

"You are terrifying me. Please tell me already. It can't be that bad. Just tell me."

"Okay. But first, you have to promise me something."

"And what?"

"Promise me you won't tell anyone what I'm gonna tell you. ANYONE."

"Not even mum or my friends?"

"No. Nobody should know it. Please don't tell anyone. I know you're probably wondering why I tell you. I can't stand lying to you."

"Okay. I won't tell anyone."

Tyler took a few deep breaths to calm himself.

"I won't talk around it. I'll just say it. Father and I are angels."

"Sorry, what? Did you just say angels?"

"Yes, you heard me correctly. I know you must think I'm joking but I'm serious."

"I believe you Tyler. You said Dad is an angel too. Does that mean he's here as well?"

"Yes he is here. I already talked to him about what happened to us. He wants to see you. But only if you want of course."

"Wow. Seeing him after ten years.. One part of me is unsure and the other half is beyond excited to see him."

"He would be happy to see you again. I don't want to push you or anything. I just want you to know he still loves you."

"I would love to see him but I'm just not sure."

"You don't have to. Just think about it."

"Okay. I can do that. I'm ready. Oh my I'm getting really nervous but also excited. What should I say? What if he asks me something and I don't know what to say? What if -"

"Stop right now. Calm down. You're overthinking this. Stop worrying."

"You are right. I'm ready."

Emily's POV

Tyler took my hand and led me to a massive gate. It looked like the main entrance of a castle. Tyler put out a golden key and unlocked it. The doors swung open and revealed thousands of angels. I couldn't believe my eyes. There are so much of them. One angel looked over and stared directly into my eyes. It felt like he could see right through me. He formed a smile and walked away. I could feel myself a little blushing. He was kinda cute. The castle itself looked like in a movie. Unbelievable. Beautiful and bright. Big but still harmless.

Tyler told me to stay a bit away from the main entrance because entering was only possible with a password. Just the angels knew it and I'm not allowed to hear it. Tyler came back and led me past the guards. As we stepped inside all I could see were fluffy clouds. They were everywhere. I want to touch one of them. I reached out to the nearest one when suddenly Tyler grabbed my hand and pulled me away.

"You can't touch the clouds. Only angels. You would destroy them. If you want I can give you one when you get home."

"Aww but I wanted to feel the fluffy clouds. But thank you. I would like one."

We walked past a lot of doors and guards until we were standing in front of another massive door with a sign on it. It says 'Office of Jake Watkins'.

"This is his office. When you're ready I'll knock. I'll give with you for moral support."

"Okay. I'm ready."

Tyler knocked softly when a loud *buzz* came from inside. The door opened slowly and there he was.

Meanwhile in the hospital (Third person's POV)

"What the hell happened to my daughter?! Where is she? She just disappeared.. Nobody knows if she's alive. TELL ME WHERE SHE IS!"

"Mrs. Watkins, you need to calm down. Emily is fine."

"You tell me to calm down?! Have you lost your mind? I already lost my husband then my son and now my daughter is nowhere to be found!"

"Listen, I know it's horrible what happened but I think she will be fine. I'm also very sorry about your loss."

"You're right Dr. Williams. I'm apologising for how I acted. I'm really sorry. I just hope she's okay."

"It's fine. I understand why. I wouldn't even know how to react if something like that would happen to me. Emily will be fine."

"I hope you are right."
