Tyler's POV

'She's as stupid as her foolish brother. It will be too easy to lead her directly into my trap. Everything is working out as planned. Next step is to make her fall for me, which won't be much of a problem because she trusts her brother and he trusts me. It'll be so much fun to see them both broken.'

That son of a bitch. I can't believe what I just heard. I can't believe I fell for his act. I have to warn her about him. I don't know if she will believe me or just thinks that I'll try to be the 'overprotective borther'. It's sad because she likes him so much and he was one of my best friends. I won't confront him though. Not yet.

Emily's POV

"Guys! Come over here!" I tried to 'yell' as quiet as possible. The human likely body in front of me seemed to be affected by my voice, so I tried to talk to the person.

"Hey. Do you need help?" The body moved and tried to stand up but fell back on the ground.

"Wait. I'll help you."

I carefully took the persons arm and tried to let them lean onto the massive stone. Once they managed to stand by themself, I got a closer look at the person. I could see that the person was male but weak. He seemed to be lying there for a longer time now. He was covered in dirt and smelled awful too.

"Emily, what's wrong?" I heard Christine whispering. She and Jonas walked closer to me but stopped in their tracks when they laid eyes on him.

"Who is that?" Jonas asked with a finger pointed directly at him.

"I don't know who he is but he seems to need our help. I found him lying here."

"I've got a name you know." He said, which startled the three of us. We turned to look at him and gave him confused looks. He suddenly appeared less weak like nothing ever happened. How did he do this? Maybe he's some freaking magican who lead us here and pranked us.

"Before you keep thinking I'm a stupid street magican, Emily, I have to tell you that I'm a wizard. Not like the childish ones."

"Haha and you think we will believe you because...?" Jonas replied in a sarcastic tone.

"And you know my name from?"

"I heard your friend over there calling you Emily, so I just figured that would be your name. I know I'm a real genius."

He's annoying me already. He's so full of himself and thinks he is sooo smart.

"I can hear what you think Emily. Just to let you know."

I hate him.

"Don't worry. The feeling is mutual."

"Now I can't even think without you knowing, you moron."

"There's no need to insult me."

"Could you please shut up? I don't wanna hear your annoying voice anymore. Thank you."

"Oh, the lady can use the words 'please' and 'thank you'. How generous of you."

"Okay, that's enough from both of you! You shut up and tell us what you still want from us and Emily just be quiet." Wow. Jonas usually never gets loud like that.

If you would have been quiet, he wouldn't have had to scream.

Is it too much to ask? I only want him to shut up.

"So, wizard, what do you want from us?" Jonas calmly asked.

"Well, I got into a fight with my master and she almost killed me."

I wish she did.

"Hey! That's rude."

"And it's rude to listen to other people's thoughts." I replied with clear anger in my voice.

"Okay, okay, I'll stop with that. Only if you all promise me to listen to what I have to tell you."

"Fine." We three said at the same time.

"She tried to kill me because she found out that I'm the son of the most powerful wizards in the universe. She was afraid I would abuse my power for the bad. You don't have to be afraid, I won't do that. For nothing in the entire universe. She didn't believe me when I told her I wouldn't do that. Just because my parents did it, she thinks I'm the same. But I'm not."

Somehow, I believe him. I can't stand him but I believe him. I looked over to my friends and they nodded in agreement.

"Okay. We believe you. For now. We will try to help you as much as we can even though we can't do much because we're just human."

"It's enough to be around you. She wouldn't dare to hurt innocent ones, so you're save. Thank you guys for helping me."

"No problem. Just don't annoy us too much or we will be gone and you will be all by yourself." Jonas said.

"Thank you. I really mean it."

We started our way back to the campsite and thought about a plan to sneak him in. Ha, now that I think about it, we still don't know his name.

"By the way my name is Wyatt. And before you think I read your mind again. No I didn't. Now calm down."

Ugh I hate him so much. I hope he's gone as fast as he came. We entered the camping place without any complications. Perhaps because nobody actually cares. We got into our cottage and to Wyatt's luck, there was still one free bed. Luckily, it's next to Jonas not me. Poor Jonas but my wellbeing is for me way more important than his. Just saying.

Hi guys! This chapter is shorter than usual just because in the next one there will be the important things. I hope you liked this chapter :). What do you think about Wyatt? Can he be trusted? What is Patrick up to? Find out next time. ♥️ u
