I forgot to mention that time stands still for everyone, except for those who where close to them during the ceremony, which means, if someone was somewhere near the house, could still move like nothing happened. Is that comprehensible? If not, please tell me and I'll try to explain it in other words. Thanks for reading :). Now back to the story.

A three days later (Time's still frozen)

Wyatt's POV

I don't know how many days passed by but Tyler and Emily improved their powers a lot. Emily now can concentrate on the light more easily and Tyler learned how to deal with his wings. He also found his hidden talent in using bow and arrow. I, on the other hand, try to understand the more advanced magic, which is way harder than I thought it would be.

There's one thing that I can't stop worrying about. I can't shake the feeling that something's wrong, very wrong. Nevermind, I'm probably overthinking this situation, as always. I thought about taking a walk to make sure everything is alright while the others keep practicing.

"Guys, I'm taking a short walk to make sure nothing's wrong. We can't risk it to let something bad happen.", I told them honestly.

"Okay but be careful.", Tyler replied. I smiled at him in return and left the cabin. Even though time stands still the weather changes. Due to the sun rising right now, I roughly know what time it would be. To be honest it's colder than I thought and an awfully freezing wind blew in my face.

Then I heard it. A loud crack a few metres away from me. Now I knew why I had a bad feeling since the ceremony. I bet someone went by the cabin when we froze time. I walked a bit further into the forest and saw the person sneaking around. I debated wether or not I should call out to them. I decided not to and walked quietly up to the person. Once I approached them I said loudly "What do you think you're doing here?" The person obviously seemed shocked and turned around quickly. Never ever would I have thought that he walked by that day.

"Thank god it's just you. I thought that creepy woman found me.", Patrick said relieved.

"What are you- wait, who's that 'creepy woman' you mentioned?", I asked him after I realized what he just said.

"This witch who's after you. She tried to get me and wanted to know where you are.", Patrick whispered, unsure if someone could hear him.

"When did that happen?", I asked, trying to keep the fear out of my voice.

"Just a few hours ago. Why do you ask?"

Oh shit. She found a loophole. It seems like Patrick ain't even aware of what's going on right now, so I explained what we did. He stood there, mouth hanging wide open, almost touching the ground.

"Soo, that means I and the crazy lady should be frozen like the others?", Patrick asked, clearly confused.

"Yes. Everyone should be stuck in time, except for the three of us. Now I need ot know-", I paused "are you willing to help us?"

"I don't know.", he replied, deep in thought.

"Whatever. It's not like I have something else to do."

"Thank you. Now come on, I'll show you where you can practice your abilities. By the way, what can you do?"

"Umm... I don't know?" Great. He doesn't even know what he's capable of.

I sighed and motioned to Patrick to follow me. When we entered the cabin Tyler and Emily looked our way. Her eyes lit up immediately at the sight of Patrick but the look Tyler gave him was priceless. It was a mixture of pure confusion and anger. At least I'm not the only one who isn't so fond of his presence. Emily, on the other hand, couldn't be happier right now. I hope she is consistent and won't let herself get distracted just because Patrick is here.

"Emily, go back to practice please. I need to talk to Patrick.", she gave me a cold look and returned to her training. I turned to Patrick.

"Do you really have no idea what powers you've got?", I asked with hope in my voice.

"Well, when I get hurt I heal pretty fast and sometimes, when I'm sad or frustrated, weird things happen around me. I can't explain what but it happens. Mostly bad things."

"The healing part is awesome but the other one is really bad. It's the price you have to pay for such a rare and powerful ability. Controlling time is also one of those, where the bad part is I can read people's minds even if I don't want to. I can't control it, just ignoring helps however not always.. Sometimes it can be useful but most of the time I hate it. That's how I found out what people thought of me and it hurt."

"I didn't know you hated it so much. How can I help? My healing won't help you much, so there's to be something else I could do."

"There actually is something you could do. Learn how to fight. Tyler is doing this right now, so he can help you getting started.", After that he left and began practicing.

Should I tell them that Morgana knows what we are doing? Probably not, I don't want to stress them. What if she's attacking us while practicing? I should tell them before she finds us.

"I have to tell you something.", I said, barely audible. To say I'm scared is an understatement.

"She found a loophole and is going after us. She doesn't know where we are though but she will find out sooner or later. We're not safe anymore." I spoke, my voice breaking at the end.

"Are you sure?", Tyler asked me, clearly concerned.

"She was after Patrick a few hours ago. I hope she didn't see us when we entered the cabin."

Suddenly, a loud crashing sound made all of us quiet. Someone found the cabin. The cracking above us brought me back to reality, when the first parts of the ceiling came crashing down.

"We have to get out of here. Fast.", I told them. Patrick ran to the door but as soon as he opened it he was greeted by a massive wall of stones. When the whole ceiling broke and started falling on us, I used a spell to let them vanish. To be honest, I didn't want to look up but I dared to and I couldn't believe my eyes. "She found us", I whispered and looked at the others.

"There you are Wyatt! I was looking for you for way too long. Now come with me.", Morgana said, looking me directly in the eyes. I shuddered under her intense stare, I couldn't even form any words. After a few moments of me trying to regain my composure I asked something I couldn't even believe myself asking this.

"If I come with you, will you spare them?"

"It depends. Who's the one you like so much?"

"You wouldn't-", I replied, shocked, terrified, angry everything at once.

"I would.", She said with a sick grin on her face.

"Leave him out of it. Please..", I pleaded. She can't do anything to him, I won't let her.

I trusted Morgana at the beginning. I told her everything because my mother wasn't there for me anymore. She knew about my feelings towards Tyler and I'm afraid of what she will do. Morgana will use him to blackmail me into something. Hopefully she won't remember his name but luck is not on my side today.

"I remember now his name. Tyler, right?"
