Sandra Ardon sat in a small grey room that had only one entry door, one bed, and one facility.

She couldn't cry anymore. What has been done has been done.

All sandra wanted was to hold her daughter Melanie, and not let go.

      Even now, that was impossible.

With her hand Sandra reached out and struck the metal rim of the bed, cutting her knuckles, she continued to hit again.

Eventually Ted Greanley had entered, wrestling slightly with Sandra as he cuffed her to the bed. Each wrist getting its own cuff that is then locked to the side-rings on either side of the jail-bed.

Soon Dr. Stanley Rubicon came to look her over, and in the middle of his administering the sedative in walks Dr. Nancy Keegan.

Ted Greanley shut the door behind her.

"How is she?" Nancy's voice was harsh and concealing.

"She's fine now. She was acting up. Started 'punching' the side of the bed. It made her hands bleed. I have Nurse Jessica coming to attend to her wounds, for now she will sleep." He removed the syringe and tossed it into his little plastic waste sack in his medical case which he brought with him on patient visits such as this.

Nancy stepped up to Sandra's bedside. She saw the self inflicted wounds on her hands. The metal cuffs loosely locked around her wrists, giving them breathing room, but still her flesh becomes perforated. "If she has to be bound can't we use gelgrip bindings so they won't cut up her wrists?" Her face stern.

Stanley Rubicon returned a blank stare, "This is temporary Nancy. Nurse Jessica is bringing evderything that we need."

The door opened and this time it was Nurse Jessica pushing in front of her a cart full of medical supplies. She parked it by the bed, as Dr. Stanley Rubicon nodded to First Deputy Ted Greanley to unfasten the handcuffs.

He did so and Nurse Jessica began immediate care on Sandra's battered hands.

Dr. Nancy Keegan stood and watched, for now she wasn't going anywhere.
