Taleda Harrington walked cautiously down the corridor, stopping when she saw the shadow around the bend. Quickly she turned and ran into the alcove hiding there only to peek out from around the corner and see Captain Farville keying in four digits on the access panel to Jessica Ajuria's living quarters.
The door did not open.
He tried again. "Damn!" He exclaimed in a whisper. He bit his thumbv and his eyes drifted from side to side.
Captain Farville removed his Ilepta-stunner and began to handle it in an intricate way, turning the end knob and affixing the length of a pin which protruded out of the tip. He then aimed it at the access panel and tried again.
The door opened and he entered.
Taleda remained still and quiet waiting for him to leave. She bit her bottom lip softly and crossed her arms leaning against the alcove wall.
