The gaseous rainbow settled around the scout ship and thinned out its color while it seemed to spread out, slowly encircling TARA 3.
"Do you all see this?" Morgan's voice chopped through the comlink with ear startling static.
"We see it when we look out the master bay window Morgan, but we pick up nothing on radar, sonar, and infra-red spectrum readings." Adam Montgomery stood from his chair as the elevator door opened.
Ed Sanders came barreling out and fell onto the flight deck floor.
"Who are you?" Sergeant Fedelvia Puente started towards him, her boots clanking on the metal grid plates. "You're not authorized personnel!" She looked down at him as he rolled over. His face bound in silver crust, an apprehension mechanism from a plasma rifle.
Fedelvia knew what to do.
As Ed Sander's kicked and flailed, the elevator doors had closed and soon reopened with Miko Kinnetta stepping onto the flight deck, and Fedelvia Puente ran to a utility box, flipped the lid open, removed the graphite hammer within, thewn hastily smashed it down onto the silver crust. Shards scattered throughout the floor and a large piece carried its way to Miko's feet.
Miko looked down at Fedelvia who was bent on one knee staring up at him. Her eyes filled with question.
"He is set to be jettisoned. He tried to escape. Here!" Miko threw Fedelvia a pair of gel cuffs.
Ed Sanders coughed and gasped for breath. He held his throat with both hands and Sergeant Fedelvia Puente manacled his wrists.
