"What are you doing?" Henry Macavee watched Dr. Nancy Keegan lean down and pick up the infant that was wrapped in hospital blankets.
"I'm taking her to a safe place. Now move!"
Dr. Nancy Keegan stepped out into the corridor and the alarm sounded. The walls seemed to bend and a growing heat came from the two openings which lead to the space behind the corridor walls.
A red glow began to appear at the seam cracks of the inner wall.
Nancy and Melanie were lifted and pushed an instant twenty feet away and were being pulled around the corner by an unseen power.
Henry looked on not paying attention to the increasing heat from the inside wall.
The rumble began to ease down and Henry turned to run as the corridor was suddenly filled with fire.
