Dr. Stanley Rubicon jumped off the last stair onto the docking bay.
He laid Patricia down on some padded blankets that were in a crate beside the tail end of jet propulsion tubes to an excursion shuttle.
On the secondary flight control booth were the launch override directions. Dr. Rubicon wasn't familiar with it, but he would speed read the text quickly and figure out how to prepare one of the shuttles for take off and automatic flight.
The computer had asked him for a destination.
Dr. Stanley Rubicon had no choice but to respond with 'earth'.
