should i get excited? lol but i am much more willing if she gives me those damn ari g concert tix already haha. so yeah.

I starred in front of my full length mirror, trying to figure out how to tie my neck tie properly. To call myself nervous right now was understatement, I was more than nervous.
I've called Jane and told her to dress up fancy, no I wasn't going to confess my love for her. It was just too early besides she might reject me.
Rejection: I'm scared that she might reject me, that she might not feel the same way about me and I know that it is possible because she doesn't believe in love.
But I'm not going to give up, I'm going to find a way for her to realize that love isn't that bad nor is it impossible. I just had to believe in myself and what I'm going to do now is my first step to make Jane fall for me.

Been knocking on her door for so long but no answer. I was finally losing hope and was already thinking of going home. So much for my hard work for that reservation and trying to look good.
Suddenly the door swung open and revealed Jane.
"Sorry I was in the shower for too long! Do I look good?" she asked.
She had bright lipstick on and her face wasn't caked with make-up, it was just very simple which I liked. Her dress fitted her perfectly, it was a beige colored dress that had an open back and it suited her perfectly.
Her brown glossy hair cascading down her shoulders and her bright smile was enough to make me melt.
"You look dashing." I offered my hand and she gladly took it.

I opened the door for her and she stepped out of my car like she was some sort of celebrity.
When we entered the fancy restaurant, I could feel like all the guys seated had their eyes on us and I couldn't feel anymore proud that I was the one who had my arm around Jane's waist.
We reached the table reserved for us that was near the clear open window, it had the view of the colorful sunset.
"This looks breath taking Luke." Jane puffed.
"I know." we were interrupted by the waitress handing our menus and we both gladly took it with polite smiles on our faces.
"Now all this smanshy-fancy stuff is ridiculous. I'll just have the creamy chicken bow tie pasta and what's yours Luke?"
"I'll just have the tenderloin tips, and a bottle of red wine with that." the waitress left after a while and the two continued to chat.

Luke retrieved a red velvet box from the inside pocket of his suit and Jane stared wide-eyed.
"You're not gonna be proposing or confessing your love for me right?" Luke was suddenly lost for words but regained his composure and laughed it out.
"No. No. I'm just giving this to you." he slid the box across the table until Jane was able to get a hold of it.
He slowly opened the box and it revealed a vintage chained bracelet with sea related charms and she smiled widely. Taking the bracelet out of the box and examining it further.
She laughed at the fact that Luke based it on her addiction to Little Mermaid and loving the sea. It had a sea shell, an anchor, a castle, a crown, a little boat and a little bottle of what is supposed to be like sand. She instantly wore it around her wrist and reached her arms out to hug Luke.
"How did you know I like Little Mermaid or the sea?" she wiggled her eyebrows.
"Well." Luke scratched the back off his neck totally embarrassed that she's been snooping around her apartment.
"No need to explain! I've already caught you snooping around, where did you buy this anyway? It's beautiful."
"Well, it's actually custom made." Jane gasped, she obviously thought it costs a lot.
"Anyway it's my gift for you, for being a really good friend, plus exchange for the penguin necklace." he pulled out the necklace chain under his collar that made Jane smile widely.
