The night after my little makeover, I couldn't sleep. And I ended up calling Jane, she was really pissed.
Since it was 2:30 in the morning and well she wasn't fond of late night calls.
"Just get dressed Luke, and meet me by the coffee shop." she said groggily.
"What?! This early?" I joked.
"You're the one who woke me up right? So do as I say." and with the kind of tone she was giving me, it was best to do what she says.

To be hanging out with a complete stranger like Jane in the middle of the night was new to me.
But she was clearly different, I didn't feel creeped out or uncomfortable at all. I actually felt, safe.
I arrived in front of the coffee shop and she was nowhere in sight. I just leaned my back on the wall and checked my phone.
No new messages.
After waiting for half an hour, I decided to go home. She obviously ditched me. I was walking back to my place when I heard someone calling my name.
"Luke!" by the squeaky and shaky voice it was obviously Jane but I wanted to play with her a little.
"Luke! Get back here!"
"I can explain!" she shouted but I continued walking.
She was finally able to catch up and I pretended that I didn't see her.
"Ehh. You see I might have fallen asleep but hey! I brought food!" she showed the bag to me and I just rolled my eyes.
"I'll do whatever you want! Just please talk to me." and I smiled looking down at her.
"Okay I forgive you. But you'll do whatever I want." I winked and she punched my arm.

She brought me to the nearby cliff to watch the sunrise. I've learned a few things about her and one of them was liking to watch the sunrise.
"So you do this often?" I asked.
She shook her head and snuggled closer to my chest.
"I told you that I'm not a morning person. I just do it whenever I'm lonely or I feel alone." she closed her eyes delicately.
"Do you feel lonely right now?" she shook her head again.
"Why would I feel that? I'm with you. By the way the sweater looks good in you." she laughed.
The sunrise was truly beautiful. Unexplainable in short. But something made it more beautiful.
Not my surroundings, not the colorful skies but because I watched it with her. I watched it with Jane.
