THIS WHOLE BOOK IS FOR MY SISTER/FRIEND!!!!
Hi, my name is Yumi Hope. I have long white hair and red eyes that seem to attract attention. Mostly in a bad way. My two sisters, Katsumi, or just Kat, and Kit also have strange colored hair. Kat has red hair and red eyes, not as bright as mine though. Kit has purple hair with dark purple eyes. For eight years we have decided to go to this boarding school called Crystal Pond Equestrian Boarding School. Two years before we drove out to where the school was we each went to a barn that sold horses. I got an Andalusian breed that is a dapple grey horse, which I named Stormrunner since he likes to go out into rain storms and run in the field. Kat got a Quarter horse that is fully black with a star on his forehead and named him Blackstar. Kit got a Paint breed that is golden color with white patches, which she named her Stargazer, seeing as she goes out at night to look at the stars. After we trained as much as we could for two whole years we are now here, at Crystal Pond.

"Shh, calm down Stormrunner." I patted my horse on the side of his neck. He couldn't seem to stand still since there was a light rain storm pounding on the trailer. Kat and Kit both laughed and I glared at them before also laughing. We felt the car stop and saw the trailer door open. I looked outside and saw two dark figures. "Hi mom. Hi dad." Kat said since she was closer and could see them better. "We're at the school now, and it seems this rain won't let up any time soon." Our mother told us and handed Kat raincoats for us and the horses. I put my own on before trying to put Stormrunner's on, but he kept ducking back and I sighed in defeat. "Alright Mr. I-love-the-rain." I chuckled and put his coat down, grabbing the reigns and leading him out. I saw Kit and Kat heading quickly off to the large barn and I followed them, slipping sometimes but my horse caught me before I could fall. Once I was in the barn I put the hood to my raincoat down and shielded my face from water drops that Stormrunner shook off. "Silly horse." I smiled. I saw Kit and Kat putting Blackstar and Stargazer into two stalls and walked over to them, finding a free one beside Blackstar's and a black and white spotted gypsy vanner with a matching mane. I looked at the horse for a while before getting Stormrunner into his stall. He snorted loudly at me and I giggled, petting his snout. "I'm sorry Stormrunner but you can't go outside right now." I smiled and kissed his neck. "I gotta go now. I'll be back tomorrow!" I waved at him before running after Kit and Kat.

I ran out of the barn, seeing Kit and Kat waiting for me at the girls dorm house. I ran over, slipping on the mud and fell onto the ground. "Yumi!" I heard Kit and Kat scream. I then heard a horses hooves and saw headlights. I was pushed from the car lights and finally got the mud away from my eyes and saw Stormrunner, sniffing my head. "Hey boy.." I said, hugging his snout. I looked over and saw the car had stopped where I was. If Stormrunner didn't like the rain I would be hurt.. I thought and was hugged by Kit and Kat. "Sorry to worry you two." I told them and stood up, leading Stormrunner back to the barn. After I put him away I walked out and back over to my two sisters. "Now I gotta take ten showers to get the mud out of my hair.." I sighed lightly and chuckled. I looked at the barn and saw the person who almost hit me come out. He had icy blue eyes and raven black hair. He walked past us and I just glared at him because he didn't say sorry for almost taking my life. "Lets go." I mumbled and started to head inside.

THE NEXT DAY

I walked into the barn, finishing putting my hair into a ponytail with a black ribbon. I opened Stormrunner's stall to see him still sleeping. "Stormrunner time to get up buddy." I patted his head and he blinked open his eyes and neighed lightly. He then stood up and I brushed his coat and mane before putting his saddle on. I got his reigns on after that and lead him outside where all the other students were. I walked him over to my two sisters before getting onto his saddle. "People who want to be in races, please go over to Miss. Kuruno." The headmaster said, pointing to another teacher with long blonde hair and blue eyes who was sitting on a dutch warmblood horse. "See ya guys." I said and had Stormrunner trot over to the teacher. I looked over at Kit and Kat who had gone to jumping for Kit and barrel racing for Kat. I then saw, out of the racing part, the guy who's car almost ran me over. I kept giving him a death glare, even when he looked at him. I looked away with a huff and we started the training lesson. After about an hour we were sent to the cafeteria to eat food.

Once I was in the cafeteria and I right up the the boy, stopping him. "So you think it's alright to almost run someone over then not say sorry?!" I yelled at him. "What are you talking about?" He asked, making me clench my fists. "Oh so you forgot that me or my horse could've gotten hurt you idiot?!" I yelled and slapped him, turning away and walking off, grumbling under my breath. "Calm down Yumi." Kit said and I looked at her and nodded. "Alright.." I mumbled and began to eat my food, casting death glares and the boy from time to time.
Kat's POV
I watched in utter shock as the slapped the boy with black hair. Yumi only ever lashes out when she felt threatened or really mad but she never minded if she was run over by a car. When she sat down Kit had told her to calm down and she did before eating her food. I noticed that she also kept glancing at the guy sometimes too.
