I heard voices and scuffling but couldn't see what was happening. People were saying things like "Get the nurse!" "She's burning up!" And some other things. After a few minutes something cold and wet landed on my forehead. I opened my eyes and saw Kit and Kat beside my bed. "Wha..." I mumbled. "What's going on?" I asked them. "You have a fever." Kit said and I sneezed again. "Oh.." I mumbled and soon fell back asleep.

Kovu's POV
I was putting away Oreo and saw that Yumi's horse, Stormrunner, was gone. After I had put away my horse I saw someone riding Stormrunner into the stables. "Why are you doing with Yumi's horse?" I asked the girl. "Yumi's sick with a fever. I'm her sister so they are having me exercise him for her." She explained. She got off of the horses back and put Stormrunner away before going over to her own horse. "Come on Stargazer. Time to stretch your legs." She said happily and her own horse neighed lightly. I watched her before looking at Stormrunner, then leaving the stables.

Yumi's POV
"Kaat! I feel finee!" I said as I tried to stand up. "No you aren't! Lay back down!" She yelled at me. Kat had stayed with me all day to take care of me. "But I wanna go ride my horseey!" I said like some drunk person. I managed to stand before falling onto my face. "Ow!" I pouted and Kat helped me stand back up. "Yay~! Let's go ride horseys!" I giggled uncontrollably. "No you are layig back down!" She scolded and she laid me back down. "But Kaat!" I pouted again. Someone opened the door and Kit walked in. "Kiit! Kat won't let me ride horrsey!" I pouted. "I'm not allowing you to ride any horses either." Kit said. "But!" I whined. "No buts! Now go back to sleep!" She scolded and I rolled over, falling asleep.

I woke up in the middle of the night and stood up on my feet, making me wobble around. I saw that Kit and Kat were both asleep and I walked over to the door, sometimes almost tripping. I opened the door, closing it and walked down the halls, bumping into half the walls on the way to the stable. Once I was outside the cold autumn air hit my face. I looked to be sure no cars were coming and that I wasn't being followed before walking on wobbly feet to the stables. Once inside I walked right over to Stormrunners stall. I opened it and laid beside my horse before falling asleep again, forgetting to close his stalls door.

Kat's POV
"Kit! Get up! Yumi's gone!" I screeched, throwing a pillow at Kit. "What?' Kit asked sleepily. "YUMI'S GONE!" I yelled and she was wide awake after that. "We've gotta find her!" Kit said. "No duh!" I rolled my eyes and ran out of our dorm. Kit stayed to get changed. I ran through the halls of the girls dorm rooms and bolted outside. "Yumi!" I called and looked around. I ran around half the campus and Kit did the rest. I ran into the stables to get Blackstar to look in the woods and when I got to his stall I noticed that Stormrunners stall door was open. I walked over and peeked inside to see Yumi sleep in a pile of hay beside Stormrunner. I facepalmed before walking to the stall and picking her up. "Geez you're heavier then you look.." I grumbled and closed her horses stall. I then started back to our dorm. Kit had ran into us at the dorms entrace and she helped me carry her the rest of the way.

We had finally got to our room and put Yumi on her bed. "Man that girl's heavy!" Kit huffed and laid onto her bed. I nodded. "Yep." I agreed and chuckled. Yumi sat up, hay sticking out from her hair pointing everywhere. Me and Kit bursted out laughing, leaving Yumi confused. "What?" She asked. Kit lifted a hand and pointed to her hair. Yuim put a hand on her head and felt the hay and also started laughing. "How is there hay in my hair?" She asked. "You decided to talk a midnight walk to the barn and slept in the hay with Stormrunner." Kat laughed. "Oh.." She laughed again. "I feel much better though." She smiled. Me and Kit got up and both of us felt her forehead. "Yeah. Your fever is gone." Kit nodded. "The cold helps me." Yumi smiled. "Let's go on a horse ride!" Yumi declared and we all jumped up. "YEAH!" We all said and ran out.
