The Opening Act

Part. 20 So Many Questions -Jessica's POV-

It felt different not sleeping with Luke. I had gotten used to falling asleep to him singing softly. But that's all over now. I don't know if I can trust him anymore.

My inner babble got stopped when I heard Tris, Vi, and Cam talking.

"Morning." I said quietly.

"Hey. How are you feeling?" Tris asked.

"Horrible." I said and flopped down next to Violet.

She put her arm around my shoulder and hugged me softly.

"I know you probably don't want to talk to the boys, but Calum, Michael, and Ashton want to know what happened. If you want to tell them, I can bring them here, so you don't have to face... him." Vi said.

"Sure. OK. Just let me get cleaned up first." I said getting up.

I showered quickly and put on my black yoga pants and a black batman shirt.

I came out to see the boys were here.

"Hi." I said slowly.

"Hey. So. What happened yesterday between you and Luke?" Ashton asked.

"Well. When I got back to the bus, I saw Luke kissing Lexi. She had her tongue down his throat and he didn't even try to stop her until I broke up with him and left." I said a few tears falling.

"I'm going to kill her!!!" Michael said.

I smiled at the thought of that.

"That's what Luke said. But he said " We were just talking about stuff, then she asked where Jess was and he told her you were out with Hannah. Then she smiled and threw herself on  him and he couldn't stop it." then he also said that you walked in right after she kissed him." Calum said.

I didn't say anything.

"He's really sorry Jessica. He really is. We've never seen him this upset before." Cal said again.

"And what about Lexi?" I asked.

"We don't know. She bolted last night." Mikey said.

I looked at the floor. I hesitated before saying anything.

"Well. I don't want to talk to him. I'm still pissed off. Just tell him I need space." I said.

"From him? Or from all of us?" Ash asked.

"From him." I said.

They nodded and left.

"I'm gonna call my grandma. Be right back." I said.

Calling Grams...

"Hello Jessica. How are you doing?"

" Hey Grams. Can I come over?"

"Of corse you can. I'll come get you."

"Thank you. Do you guys have Karma?"

"Yes we do."

"How is she?"

"She's alright. She cries at night sometimes."

"OK. See you soon. Bye!"

"Bye sweetie!"

Call Ended.

" I'm going to my grandparents house for a few hours. So I guess I'll see you later." I said.

They all waved goodbye.

I walked outside to wait for my grandma.

"Jessica. Will you please let me talk?" Luke asked pretty much pleading.
