The Opening Act

Part. 12 The Change -Jessica's POV-

I woke to Luke snoring softly. He was so cute when he slept. I grabbed my phone to check the time. It was 7:25 and there was a new message.

1 New Message From: Hannah Banana.

"hey Jess. How you doing? Dads funeral is on Thursday. Love you. Call me!"

I kissed Luke's cheek, and slipped out of our bunk. I walked to the small kitchen and started to make chocolate chip muffins.

A few minutes later the boys woke up.

"What smells so good?!" Luke asked grabbing my waist from behind.

"Muffins!" I said spinning around to face him.

I kissed Luke passionately, forgetting that the other lads were standing there.

"Get a room!!" Mike said holding his hand to his eyes.

I giggled and blushed turning away and taking the muffins out of the oven.

"Hey!!" I said slapping Luke's hand.

"Let them cool off stupid!" I laughed.

He stuck his tongue out at me.

"I'm gonna go shower!" I said giving Luke a quick kiss and walked away.

While I was washing my hair, I started to think of something to ask Kit. I'll call Kit later.

I got out and put on my green camo pants and my cropped Nirvana top on. I put on mascara and French braided my hair.

When I walked out the guys were staring at the muffins.

"Can we have them now?!" Luke whined.

"Yes." I said.

I quickly grabbed my phone to call Hannah.

"What ya doing?" Calum asked stuffing a muffin in his mouth.

"Calling Hannah." I said and sat down.

Calling Hannah...

"hey Jess"

"hey. How you doing?"

"OK I guess..."

"wanna have a girls day out? Like we used to?"

"I'd love that!"

"me too!"

"just so you know Jess, dad's funeral is on Thursday at 1:00pm"

"OK. See you soon! Love you!"

"love you too! Bye!"

Call Ended.

I grabbed a muffin and sat down on Luke's lap.

Ash turned the TV on and put on a movie.

I was waiting outside of the restaurant for Hannah.

"Hey!" Hannah said pulling me into a tight hug.

"Hey! You look beautiful!" I said checking out my baby sister.

"Thanks. You too!" she said.

We laughed and went inside.

We both got pasta. When we finished eating and payed we went outside.

"I'm going to call Kit real quick." I said grabbing my phone.

Calling Kit...

"hello Jessica! How are you doing?"

"meh. I'm OK. Hey I was wondering if I could get my hair done today for the show tonight?"

"I don't see why not."

"great thanks"

Call Ended.

Hannah and I are at the hairdressers and I'm getting my hair dyed.

When I came out Hannah's mouth dropped.

"What?" I asked.

"Your hair looks amazing!!!" She said.

"Thanks." I said playing with it.

We walked around for a few hours, then decided to say goodbye.

After we said goodbye I called Ashton.

Calling Ashton Irwin...

"Hey Jess. You OK?"

"Yeah I'm fine. Can you come me?  I'm at the mall."

"Sure. See ya soon!"

Call Ended.

When Ash pulled up, his mouth dropped.

"Your hair!!" she sqeaked.

"I know. You like?"

"I love! It looks so good on you!" he said.

"Thanks!" I said getting in.

When we got back, the boys commented on my hair and then, we just chilled and watched movies.

Today was a good day. I hope Kit's OK with my hair.
