The Opening Act

Part. 6 Show #2 -Jessica's POV-

This is gonna be the best show yet. And the most emotional night ever. Desisions need to be made. And hearts may be broken. And Im hoping for the best.

I jump at sudden vibration of someone ringing me on my phone. Stopping my inner babble.

Sam:3 Calling:

"Sam! Oh my god hey!" I said excitedly.

"Hey Jess! How are you? Hows everything with the tour, and Luke?" She asked.

"Acually everything is great. Me and Luke worked it all out and were best friends again!" I said smiling.

"Wow! Thats great! Guess what?" She asked changing the subject.

"Uuh. Im guessing you dyed your hair again?" I guessed.

"Yes and no. Yes I dyed it again, but thats not what I was gonna say. Im coming to your show tonight!!" She sqealed from the other line.

"Oh my god!! Yaaaay!!" I sqealed from my line.

"And to make things better. Im gonna be watching it from backstage!" She screamed.

"Aaahh!!! Omg Sam thats amazing I cant wait to see you!!" I scremed.

"Me too!! See you tonight!!" She said and hung up.

Call Ended.

"Who was that?" Calum asked making me jump almost 55 feet in the air.

"Oh my fuck!! Calum you scared the fuck out me!!" I said slapping his arm.

"Ouch! Hey! Thats child abuse!" She joked.

"Ha! Try animal abuse!" I joked.

"Jerk! So you gonna tell who you were talking to?" He asked.

"Oh... right. You remember Sam? Sam Clearwater?" I asked.

"You mean Skippy Sam?" He asked shocked.

"Yeah! One of ouur besties." I said.

"Of course I do! Why?" He said.

"She coming to tonights show!! She'll be backstage!!" I screamed.

"Thats awesome!" He said. He sounded more excited than I did.

"I know right?! Omg what am I gonna wear?!" I said with a panic.

I turned around and darted towards my bags to find the perfect outfit. It took awhile but I found it.

I desided to wear my black Nirvana t-shirt, my green camo pants, and my studded combat boots. I also desided to straighten my hair and put it in a side fishtail braid.

I walked out and saw the boys standing in the living area.

"So? How do I look?" I asked spinning around.

"You look amazing Jess!" A familiar female voice said.

"Sam!!!!" I screamed running to my best friend wrapping her in a tight hug!

"Oh my god its so good to see you again!!" Sam said breaking the hug.

"Its great to see you too! I misses you so much!!" I cried.

"When did you get here?!" I asked.

"Just now. I was walking oast the bus and I saw the boys and they told me to come see you, and like I would pass that up!" She said hugging me again.

I hugges her back and we all just sat and cought up with each other and totally lost track of time. When suddenly, the door of the bus burst open. It was Kit.

"What are you doing?! Jessica you need to be on stage in 3 minutes!!" Kit shouted.

"Oh crap!! Sorry! Lets go!" I said.

We all rushed out the door and into the venue.

I was about to grab my guitar, when Luke grabbed my waist, spun me around, and crashed his lips into mine. He tasted like mint, and his lips were soft.

"I love you Jessica!" He said breaking the kiss.

"Luke... I-I" I was saying before Kit cut me off.

"No time to chit chat! Jess get your butt on stage!" She said handing me my guitar, and pushing me onstage.

I ran onstage and the cowd went wild. I geeted everyone, then started playing Live While We're Young by 1D. And when it ended all I could hear were the screams of all the fans.

After 3 songs I ended it. They really liked me. I cant believe I have fans!

"Goodnight everybody!! Now let me hear it for, 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER!!!!" I screamed.

The crowd went insane. It was amazing! I ran offstage into the wings and was greeted with a tight hug from Sam, and hugs from the others.

"You were amazing out there Jess! Im so proud of you!" Sam smiled hugging me.

"Thank you!" I said hugging back.

"Good luck guys!!" Sam and I chimmed.

Me and Sam were rocking out and screaming in the wings like everyone else was.

It was a great show. But I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss.

"Hey Jess are you okay?" Sam asked ending my inner babble.

"No not really..." I answered.

"Whats up?" She asked.

"... Luke kissed me before I went onstage!" I blurted.

"No way!" She said.

"Yeah way. He told me he loved me." I whispered.

Sam didnt say anything. The boys ran offstage and into the wings were Sam and I were.

"You guys rocked!" We said at the sane time.

"Thank you! Thank you!" Cal said and bowed.

After a moment of silence we walked back to the dressing room. Me and Luke walked side by side in silence, before I spoke.

"Can we talk?" I asked Luke quietly.

"Sure." He said stopping in his tracks.

I stepped closer towards Luke. He didnt move, didnt even step back. He just stood there.

I did what my heart told me to do. I kissed him.

"I love you Luke Hemmings! I always have!" I said smiling after breaking the kiss.

"Y-you do?" He asked.

"Yes. I do." I smiled.

And then Luke crashed his soft lips into mine and we kissed eachother passionatly for a few seconds before the silence was broken by cheering.

"You too are so cute together!!" Sam squealed.

Me and Luke just laughed and walked back to the dressing room with our group.

I need to tell them about me moving back to Sydney. Ill tell them tomorrow. But for now, I just want to spend this night with great friends, and the perfect boyfriend.
