The Opening Act

Part. 16 Band Meeting -Jessica's POV-

It was 2:30am and I haven't slept. I guess it's just nerves about my dads funeral today.

I got out of my bunk, and opened the curtain to Luke's bunk.

"Luke? Luke! Luke wake up!" I yelled in a whisper.

"What's wrong? Is everything OK?" he asked yawning.

"I can't sleep. Can I sleep here with you?" I asked.

"Sure." He said and scooted over so I could lay next to him.

He wrapped his arms around me and I felt asleep to him singing Beside You softly.

"Hey Jessica wake up!" Luke said shaking my body.

"What do want?!" I yawned.

"It's almost 7:50. You have to get up." He said kissing my cheek.

I groaned and slipped out of bed and walked into the bathroom.

I quickly washed my hair and shaved my legs.

When I got I slipped on my black dress, and curled my hair. I did my makeup in black mascara and eyeliner.

I walked out and sat on Luke's lap.

"You look beautiful Jessica!" Luke and Calum said together.

"Thank you! You guys are still coming with me right?" I asked grabbing my black studded huchie heels.

"Of corse we are!" Luke said kissing my neck.

I let out a small squeak.

I jumped at the sudden vibration of my phone.

Kit Calling...

"hey Kit!"

"hey Jess. Please let the boys know that there will be a band meeting at 4:30pm after your fathers funeral."

"yeah I'll let them know."

"thank you! Bye now!"

Call Ended.

I smiled and put my phone on the table

"It's was Kit. We have a meeting at 4:30pm after the funeral."

They all nodded their heads in ok's.

Eventually it was time to go. So the five of us drove down the cemetery.

Hannah was squeezing my hand so no one could here sobs. I did the same.

Hannah and I put flowers on dads grave, after the father said the prayer.

By now the funeral is over and me and the boys are driving down to meet Kit.

We ran inside and sat on the chairs and waited for Kit.

"Hello everyone!" She said skipping in the room.

"Hi!" we all corused.

"I called you all here today, to tell you that you have one more preformer who will be opening up for you." she said.

"Who?" Ash asked.

"Lexi Diaz." she said smiling.

"No!!" I said.

Just after Lexi came out looking like the slut she really is.

"Hey guys! Long time no see!" She said.

Luke was the only one to say hi.

Maybe this won't be so bad...  Maybe it will all work out.
