This is more of a vent, so if it's not that in character, I'm sorry. :   (

The sun shines down its rays of light, down to the soft ground below. It reflects off the water, which lets out a variety of different colours. From all different shades of blue, to even a small tint of purple in the mix. It was beautiful in its own way, especially with the light green leaves of early spring. Small little buds of flowers, slowly pop up from the ground.
As the lake comes to life, a human makes their way to the clearing. Brown hair, long enough to mostly cover their face. Dark bags could be seen underneath their eyes. Their movements where ragged, each step they took, it seemed as if they where holding the weight of the whole world.
The fish seemed to stop their swimming, and look at the human in wonder. The deep scales, made them blend in without a problem. A small slight breeze ruffles throughout the lake, which makes a few ripples in the colourful surface.
The human finally stops walking, only to drop to their knees. They were close enough to look into the water, but not close enough to see the fish in it. A hand is brought into the water, as the fish scatter away in fear. The hand is token out of the water, as the human lets out a small sigh.
It was one of those sighs, that made people question what it truly meant. It wasn't one of those frustrated sighs, or sighs of relief. This one, had a history behind it, one that people have questioned about for centuries.
A small squirrel makes their way to the human, looking at them with curiosity. Their little tall brushes up some fallen leaves, which makes the human look towards them. The squirrel stops its movements, and tilts its head at the lonely human.
The human stares at the squirrel, only to turn their gaze back to the water. The quietness of water, is a scary thing. It can keep so many hidden secrets, that no living creature could quiet grasp. It keeps these secrets to itself, knowing that the world could live without them. Sometimes, without knowing living creatures are pouring their own secrets to it. It draws them in, with its calming surface, making things wish that they where it.
The human finally starts to speak in a small voice. It was quiet enough for the water to hear. "It seems like everything that I do, ends up being the wrong thing. I tried to help them, I really did. I never wanted this to happen." Small droplets of water come out of their eyes, making the water listen more. They try to let out a smile, but the water doesn't like liars. It shows a human with a broken face, with dull eyes. While they thought that their mask was working.
"All I wanted, was to be someone that people looked up to. It's just, maybe I took the wrong way of doing it." The human grabs onto the grass, which lets out a little squeak of pain. "I never wanted my friends dead, or in pain. I swear I didn't."
Everything goes quiet, even the squirrel that was listening to the humans words. The human stays kneeling there, until the sun started to set in the distance. Small shades of dark pink, and purple light up the sky. If you looked closely, you could even see some oranges in the mix.
The human, gets up from the ground. Giving the water one more glance, then they start to walk away. The dark blue fish, return to their spot, swimming around in sadness. They listened to the conversation, since they are apart of the water. The squirrel goes back to their tree, knowing that it was time to sleep.
Everything goes calm, just like the water. It knows more then it lets on. It's colourful surface, draws creatures in just so they can spill everything to it. Maybe, the water nows some of your secrets. That's, a conversation for you and the water when you are by yourselves.

I actually missed writing like this, so I might do it more often.
Also, I'm a bit sorry for the riddle like vent. If you can actually understand what I'm trying to say. Good job.
