☆━━━AFTER FINALLY CONVINCING MIKEY to set me down, claiming I had my own two feet and didn't need a turtle as an Uber, I thought for sure I was about to pass out by the time we made it back outside to the van. A puff of air left my lips as the guys slowed to a stop, scanning the area while I bent over, placing both of my hands on my knees.

Damn, I'm so out of shape.

I lifted my gaze from the ground once April and Vern joined us, staring up at them as they looked down at me with questioning frowns.

"Are you okay?" April slowly asked, lifting a perfect brow upon noticing my heavy breathing.

No. "Yeah – totally." I waved lazily, pushing my glasses back up my nose as I straightened my spine, rolling my shoulders back and placing my hands on my hips with a deep breath so I could compose myself, "Just not used to chasing six-foot turtles around,"

Vern gave me an odd look, "I'm not even out of breath and I'm more out of shape than you are, kid."

Flicking my fallen hair back, I glared over at him, fixing my posture a bit. "Look, no one asked for—"

"Guys, can we focus on the more important things here!" Leonardo cut me off before I could finish my sentence, causing Raphael to shoot me a smirk.

Was me not dying important? I narrowed my eyes at the two turtles, wanting to hit one for being bossy, and wanting to hit the other because he was just a pain in the ass.

Ignoring my glare, Raph quickly tipped his head back as a helicopter flew over. "Sacks is airborne!" The rest of us looked up as well, watching as it flew out of view, heading in the direction of the city.

"Flight time to Manhattan, 19 minutes!" Donnie informed us, playing with his cool-ass watch.

I glanced back at the damaged van, knowing damn well the guys wouldn't fit. We need something bigger.
