All of Nothing

I woke up with a long yawn, stretching to release the tension along my spine. I looked to my right and saw that Lloyd was still asleep, his soft snores being the only sound in the silent room. I could faintly hear the others outside. From the light the window provided, I could tell it was near noon.

Hm, I must have slept in a bit longer than usual.

I tossed the sheets off me and started to shake Lloyd awake.

"Five more minutes," he mumbled, still half asleep.

"Five more minutes and it'll be past noon, Lloyd."

He slowly opened his eyes. "Aya...WHA!"

He fully shot his eyes opened and scrambled to his feet, only to trip over the blanket and fall straight back down.

"What? What's wrong?" I looked behind me to see if there was something there, but there was nothing. Confused, I turned back to him and find him staring not behind me, but at  me.

He stared at me wide-eyed as I tilted my head in confusion.

"Lloyd, what's wrong?

The door slammed open followed by Cole saying "What's going on-- WAAAH!"

Everyone had gathered in the room--each having an equal look of shock etched into their faces. Heck, even Garmadon and Wu were shocked. Though I barely know the brothers, I know enough that they're not ones to break composure.

Everyone just stood there, silent.

By now I was getting a little annoyed.

"Would someone like to tell me what's wrong?"

I saw Nya leave and return a few moments later with something in her hand--it was a mirror.

Confused, I took the mirror from her.

I screamed.

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~

"I still don't understand how this is possible," Nya said as she, Wu, Garmadon, Lloyd, and I were at the Bridge. The others had left because a Venomari was spotted on the streets.

"Believe me, I wish I knew," I said, pulling on my somehow now-long hair. Apparently the reasons to everyone's shock this afternoon was because my short hair had returned back to its normal length, maybe even a little longer.

We tried everything to figure out how and why it did. Nya even tried to cut it with a pair of scissors. Let's just say she needs a new pair. This went on until nightfall until eventually we decided to leave it be and Nya tied it into a high-ponytail.

"You mean this hasn't happened before?"

I shook my head.

"Any ideas, uncle?"

"Don't ask me. I'm wise, but not that wise. Especially with something like this."

"We're back!" Cole announced as he and the others burst through the door.

"How'd it go?" Nya asked.

"Good," Kai informed, "We learned where Pythor's at, but we have a problem."

After telling Nya the coordinates, a red dot appeared on the screen--it was on the other side of Ninjago.

"The Venomari's right," Nya explained. "By the time we cast sail clear across to the other side of Ninjago, Pythor will have already beaten us to the last Fangblade."

"Aw, come on, guys! This is the last one, we gotta get it! We gotta think of something," Jay said in an attempt to bring the others spirits up.

"Hey," Lloyd suddenly said, causing all of us to stop our thinking and turn to him. "All we need is one Fangblade to stop Pythor, but why don't we just take back the other three? Pythor wouldn't risk having all of them on him. He's probably hidden them somewhere while he goes for the fourth!"
