I'm so sorry that I practically disappeared off the face of the earth and there's probably no excuse. I'm sorry!! ;n;

I'm not gonna promise that I'll try and update regularly, since I've said that and I completely blew that statement out the water. But I can guarantee that I'll try and update as much as I can!

I...have no idea what else to say...

So...on with the story!

"Good! Keep it up," Kai encouraged a certain green-clad boy.

"Fists of Fury!" Lloyd cheered as he continued to punch the oven mitts the Fire Ninja wore. "I'm so fast you can't even see my fists!"

"Save the gloating. It can only be used against you by your enemies."

The young boy waved off the teen's lecture with a puff of air. "Oh please! I'm ready to face whatever you throw at me!"

He kicked the teen back into the wall, but the latter didn't even flinch upon impact. "Whoa there, Grasshopper. You're not even ready to face my pinkie toe," he teased, wiggling said toe.

Behind, Sensei Wu was watching, sipping his tea casually. "I see the student has become the teacher. With your lessons, you will learn fast, Lloyd."

"Great," Cole started, "Now that that's over, how about some target practice? On Kai ."

Said teen's smug looked disappeared as he gulped.

"You each will get your turn," Wu said. "But first, I don't want you to be late for your next lesson with Nya."

"Aww, but when will I learn Spinjitzu?" the boy whined.

"Patience. You will unlock it when the key is ready to be found."

Lloyd grumbled and begrudgingly made his way towards the door.

"You know, I think Ayata's  there. Right, Cole?" the lightning ninja nudged said teen, to which Cole responded with a sly "I think she is? I wonder what she's doing?"

Lloyd's mood shot up. "Uh, I-I'll go see!"

The ninja (minus Zane who just stood there confused) laughed as they watched the boy's retreating form exit the room.

"He's sooo  got it bad for her," Kai laughed.

"And I bet he doesn't even know it," added Cole. "Although, his whining is  very familiar."

All heads turned to the fire ninja. "Hey! I wasn't that  whiny!"

"No, you were worse," Zane said, causing the others to laugh while Kai frowned.

After calming down, Jay spoke. "Guys, I know were trying to prepare Lloyd for the future, but it's hard to train him in these conditions."

"Jay's right. I miss the Destiny's Bounty. Too bad it's gone," Cole said, a tint of sadness in his voice.

Wu hummed. "I see your point. Perhaps it's time we begin to look for alternative places to aid in his training."

Atop the roof, Nya and Ayata were tending to the dragon when Lloyd came bounding up.

"Well look who decided to show up," Nya said. "Thought you decided to bail on us."

"Heh, yeah," Lloyd chuckled.
