The Bounty rocked and lurched with the sudden storm. Ayata, Nya, Kai, and Jay were gathered around the dining table with the Fangblades.

"Why is it that Torchfire Mountain is the only  place we can destroy the Fangblades," Nya asked.

"Cause the Fangblades are made from the original teeth of the Devourer," Kai explained. "They're so strong they can only be destroyed in extraordinary heat."

"Hey, could someone pass the salt?" Jay asked.

Ayata quirked a brow. "You're eating a sandwich? During this storm and these conditions?"

The blue ninja merely shrugged. "Why not? I'm hungry."

The ship tilted violently, and the salt shaker Jay had asked for miraculously came to his hand. "Hey, thanks!" he said to no one in particular.

Just then, Cole opened the door, looking off-color and desperately trying to keep a foothold. "Please, no one talk about food," he gagged. He staggered in and out of sight as the ship rocked. "How much longer 'till we get there?"

"Not long," Jay responded. A mischievous smirk grew on him. "Hey, Cole, you're looking a bit green over there. How'd you like a mucus-salt sandwich?"

At the mere mention of the food, Cole grew even greener, gagging, and ran out.

Jay chuckled to himself. "Speaking of green, who would have guessed that little Lloyd Garmadon turned out to be the Green Ninja?"

"I know!" Nya agreed, the corners of her lips twitching upwards. "He was such a brat at first--hard to believe he's gonna become the greatest ninja that ever lived."

Kai coughed, interrupting Nya's words. "Where is the little runt anyways?"

"There's no need to be jealous," Ayata quipped.

"W-What? No!" Kai quickly defended. "I'm not jealous at all!"

"Oh yeah, he's totally jealous," Nya stated, causing Kai to send the stink-eye to his sister.

"Forget it. But seriously, where is he?"

Ayata shook her head as she got up. "He's probably downstairs 'training'. I'll go check on him."

As soon as the white-haired child left, Nya spoke. "Anyone else notice that Ayata's been a little more, uh, open?"

"That's because of Lloyd," Jay answered with a mouth-full of sandwich.

The two siblings stared at Jay with surprise, to which the lightning ninja said, "What? Isn't it obvious? Ever since Lloyd got captured, Ayata was back to her cold, emotionless self. But since we got him back, Ayata's, uh...less cold, and emotionless...I guess."

Nya held her chin in thought. "Now that I think about it, I have  realized she isn't so distant from us as much."

"Riiiight? It's so  obvious!"

"You know what else is obvious," Kai said, a sly smile drawn onto his face as he said, "Lloyd's little crush on his friend."

"Really?" Nya said. "What makes you think that?"

"Well, for starters, he constantly blushes and gets flustered around her."

"Not to mention he follows her almost everywhere," Jay added.

"Well that doesn't necessarily mean anything," Nya said, hesitation evident in her voice.

Kai rolled his eyes. "Sure, cuz you and Jay totally don't do that with each other."
