"I think napping on the plane was a bad idea," Ryan said as he drove out of the airport in their rental car.

"A lot of the stuff you do is a bad idea," Shane said.

They ended up arriving at their hotel in Cincinnati at around 7 o'clock, jet-lagged and hungry. Ryan suggested they get takeout, TJ suggested pizza, and Shane and Evan were indifferent. In the end, they got two large pizzas delivered to their hotel rooms.

"Make sure to set your alarm for nine, so we can do camera and sound check for tomorrow night," TJ said, standing at the doorway to the bathroom. "Also, save some pizza for me if it gets here before I finish my shower. I don't trust those two when they're hungry."

A few minutes later, Ryan came through the door connecting the hotel rooms. It was propped open by TJ's suitcase, so Evan could see Shane looking on his phone as he sat on his bed in the other room.

"Hey," he said, standing in the middle of the room looking slightly lost. "Is TJ taking a shower?" When he said that, the shower turned on.

"Yeah." Evan set her phone down on the nightstand. "What's up?"

"Oh, yeah, um, would you mind looking up the addresses to the churches in the area," he said. "I'd really like to get some holy water before setting foot in what could possibly be a portal to hell."

"Oh, yeah, of course," she said, snatching her phone up from the nightstand.

"Thanks, uh, just text me the addresses when you do," he said. "Now, I'm gonna take a shower like TJ, hopefully, before the pizza gets here though." With that, he left the room, and a couple minutes later, the shower turned on in the other room.

It didn't take long for Evan to assemble the list of church addresses in a text to a Ryan. After she sent the text, she plugged in her phone and set it down on the nightstand.

"You do know that the holy water won't do any good at the gates of Hell, right?" Shane said, his voice low, as he stood in the doorway. He didn't want TJ, or possibly Ryan, to overhear their conversation.
