Waterfly's P.O.V:

"Waterfly come quickly!!" a voice brought Waterfly from her nap. Blazemoon stood over her, the queen's eyes were strethced wide "Silverstar is hurt."

Waterfly nodded briskly and gathered the herbs she needed and then trotted out of the medicine den. She saw Silverstar and Stormflame standing by the camp entrance. Waterfly noticed quite a few of her clan mates glaring at Stormflame with hatred, Nutwhisker included.

"Let me through." Waterfly whispered to the crowed cats and made her way to her wounded leader. Once she was at Silverstar's side she saw burn marks on her side. The skin was bright red. "What happened??" Waterfly demanded.

Mousenose spoke up, "Stormflame tried to kill Silverstar by burning her." the she cat fluffed up her pelt and hissed at Stormflame.

The black tom opened his mouth as if to say something but shut it and turned away. "Not true." Waterfly heard him mutter under his breath. Waterfly narrowed her eyes at both cats and turned to Stormflame.

"Tell me the truth then."

Stormflame kept his gaze low, "You wouldn't believe me. Just treat Silverstar and let her explain." He rose to his paws and stalked away. Cats parted silently out of his way as he went into the warriors den.

_________

Silverstar's P.O.V:

Pain.

Pain was all Silverstar felt.

Her whole side burned from Stormflame's fire and her shoulder felt broken. She couldn't open her eyes, they wouldn't budge. All her body wanted to do was rest and rest it was given.

Silverstar felt herself slip into unconsiousness again.

___________

Stormflame's P.O.V:

Brilliant. Stormflame heard his inner voice speak to him again, Now they will definately kick me out of the clan. He grunted and covered his face with his tail. He just wanted to hide away from the world. He wanted to be a kit again. No worries. No clan mates to support. Just a simple rogue lie with Cloud. Why did he have to cross Lightclan's border? Why didn't he just leave them alone?

Then he felt the voice come back, Why didn't you say anything when Waterfly asked you what really happened?

"No one would have believed me." he growled to the voice in his head.

"Are you talking to yourself?" He heard someone whisper behind him. He lifted his head to see a kit. CloudkitThe voice whispered to him. How did the voice know this? He shrugged the thought away and looked silently at the kit, eyes calm.

"Yes I am." Stormflame answered stiffly, not wanting to tlak about it.

Cloudkit shrugged, "Oh, and, by the way..." he shuffled his paws, "I don't think you wanted to hurt Silverstar but I won't say it in front of the other cats. Especially Fernpelt." the kit blinked once at Stormflame before he turned tail and ran back into the crowd of cats.

__________

Clearlight's P.O.V:

Clearlight sat beside Bluestorm. His daughter was babbling on about how Silverstar should banish Stormflame from Lightclan. Clearlight didn't bother to listen. He knew that Stormflame would never try and hurt Silverstar. He knew that Stormflame had strong feelings for his leader and that she had feelings for him. It was obvious. Clearlight couldn't believe the clan was being so blind!

"Clearlight are you even listening?!" Bluestorm hissed at him, tail twitching.

Clearlight shook his head, "No I am not. Did you say something important?" He raised an eyebrow in irritation.

Bluestorm huffed, "Worst father ever." She grumbled and trotted to Fernpelt. The deputy had a large crowd of cats around him. He was convincing them that Stormflame was a traitor.

Clearlight sighed and got to his paws. He padded slowly to the warriors den to see if Stormflame would speak to him.

________

Waterfly's P.O.V:

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Hightree for a clan meeting!!" Fernepelt yowled.

"Great," Waterfly muttered, "Silverstar's not dead yet!" She plopped down beside Nutwhisker and looked up at Fernpelt to see what he had to say.

Fernpelt began, "As everyone has seen, Silverstar is wounded! And it is all Stormflame's fault! He should be banished for his crimes!"

Yowls erupted from the gathered cats below Fernpelt. Waterfly saw Clearlight and Stormflame pushing their way to the front. Once they were at the foot of the Hightree, Clearlight yowled, "Stop!! Stormflame is innocent!"

The yowls died down immediately after Clearlight said that and all eyes went on him. Fernpelt let out a loud growl, "Clearlight? I never expected you to take the side of the traitor. Very well, you shall accompany Stormflame and leave with him forever."

"Shut up, will you?" Waterfly heard a gruff voice yell behind her. She turned around to see Cloudwhisp padding stiffly to Stormflame's side. "Stormflame would never want to kill another cat unless there was a good reason to!"

"Yeah!" Clearlight agreed and helped Cloudwhisp to his side. The Lightclan cats stared at them in anger.

Then Bluestorm spoke, "Exactly!! Stormflame's reason for hurting Silverstar was because he was held prisoner by her!!" Once again the cats let out screeches. Cats reared onto their hind legs and yowled things like:

"Bluestorm is right, Stormflame and his allies must be banished!"

"Kick 'em out!!"

"They deserve it!"

"He promised to follow the Warrior Code and he broke it!!"

Waterfly closed her eyes and tried to block out the yowls. How could her own clan mates be so blind and heartless?! Couldn't they see how Stormflame cared deeply for Silverstar?

At last, the yowls died down again and Fernpelt continued, "Stormflame, Clearlight and Cloudwhisp." He addressed the three cats below him, "You are hearby banished from Lightclan territory for attempted murder!" He then glanced up at the gathered cats in the clearing, "Would anyone else like to join them?"

Deafening silence filled the clearing. No cat moved for what seemed like moons. Then a small squeaky voice spoke up, "I will join them. I believe Stormflame is innocent." Gasps filled the clearing and Waterfly craned her neck to see who had spoken and when she saw she let out a shocked gasp as well. Cloudkit!

No way. Cloudkit cannot go with them. Waterfly repeated in her head over and over. He is only a kit.  And before Waterfly knew what she was doing, she pushed her way to stand beside Cloudkit. "I'll go too."

Another round of gasps swept through the clan and Waterfly saw Clearlight smiling sadly at her. She smiled back and looked up at Fernpelt. The deputy was seething with fury. His fur was on end, his claws were out and his ears were flattened against his head.

There was absolutely no way Fernpelt would let a kit and a medicine cat accompany the banished cats. This would change his mind.

But Waterfly was wrong.

"Fine!" Fernpelt hissed, "Leave then and never ever come back!!"
