Wanted- The Dark Kingdom
Part IV- The Dark Crown
Chapter 31- We are all Monsters
A wind from the North blows,
bringing with it those who lie below.
With them, spreads the infection,
to what may be the darkest connection.
A crown forged from the tears of good and bad,
will choose the king whose army stands.
The light leads and the dark follows,
to the first jewel of the girl who borrowed
Then, the dark leads and the light follows,
to the second jewel of a man's true horror
A king shall be crowned where the first king stepped,
putting an end to their world's unrest.

As I sit, right now, in my dark cold cell, writing the first sentence on the last page of this diary, I know a great change is coming. I can feel it, like a second shadow that taints my every step. This change promises good and bad. Death and life. This feeling has been following me for a while. At first, I thought it was simply my boredom and imagination at play, a feeling I conjured up to escape my reality. But this morning, rumors and whispers of the new prophecy filled the palace's air. It was as if an invisible coat of curiosity had fallen over everyone in the palace. Everyone spoke of the prophecy, everyone recited its lines. The prophecy promised change. It spoke of another king. It spoke of an ancient and powerful crown. Change was coming. I knew then that my feelings and suspicions were true. I knew then that my reality will now begin to change.
I don't know what this prophecy will bring about. But something stirs in the dark corners that we can't see but can only sense. Something is coming.
This change both scares and excites me, as I do not know what role I'll play. However, what terrifies me the most is the fact that I won't be able to document what will happen from this point further.
And that's how I know, this story is now coming to an end. The finale now begins to weave itself together.
Annabeth Chase's Diary, Page 480, the final page.
From this point on, no diary entries exist.

Just beyond the horizon, where the sea drifted endlessly with no means to an end, the sun had begun to rise.
It's orange warm glow began to blend in with the blue-purple sky, until the dark colors faded, gone for now. The waters around the ship seemed to soak up the sky's glow, appearing as if millions upon millions of crystals had fallen in the water, its glittering surface welcoming, not at all revealing what may lie beneath.
