Just when everyone had set out on the Rocky Road Trail, the hike had quickly turned for the worse when Wyatt discovered that Luke promised Land Corps the ranch as the both of them had a huge fight which prompted Luke to leave with Theresa.

"This is so like him, Dad had one request for us to follow from his hospital bed and Luke can't even do that."

"Tempers really got heated but I'm sure everything will work out in the end."

Just then, Wyatt's expression softened.

"You don't know Luke and you don't know us and if we can't do this hike like the way it's needs to be done then maybe all hope is lost for this family."

Wyatt shook his head as he wandered off into the words.

"Wyatt, wait!"

Amelia ran after as she caught up to Wyatt by a nearby stream where he sat on a rock alone.

"Hey."

"Hey."

She sat down next to him on the rock and placed her arm around his shoulders as he leaned against her.

"I'm sorry that Luke couldn't let the Land Corps situation go while we're doing the hike and yet..."

"Luke's never been the one to let any situation go his whole life and it's just so frustrating because I'm not doin' this for my sake, I'm doin' it for all of us but he always make it about business and I'm the one doing the responsible thing, workin' on the ranch and helpin' Dad."

Wyatt took a deep breath and sighed.

"But maybe it's time that we should walk away."

"Really?"

"Why not? As much as I wanna keep it goin', if we give it up, I can live my life again with the rodeo."

"Wyatt, I think--"

Before Amelia could finish her sentence, she was cut off by a loud high-pitched scream.

"What the hell is going on?"

Wyatt ran into the woods towards Theresa's scream as Amelia sprinted after him which about a few yards down the trail, she saw Wyatt bending over Luke and Theresa who were hanging from the edge of a cliff.

"What happened?"

"The bridge started to collapse and we got stuck as it fell below us."

"Griffin, do you have any rope in his backpack?"

Griffin searched through his bag and took some rope out as he gave it to Wyatt.

"Luke, I need you tie one end around Theresa and you so we can pull y'all up."

Luke tied the rope around him and Theresa while everybody else had pulled the two of them up and afterwards, Amelia realized she'd been holding her breath for the last few minutes and then exhaled as she turned to Megan and Carter.

"Oh my gosh, that was really close!"

"I know right!"

Theresa threw her arms around Luke.

"I was so scared."

"I'm okay, Dad, I'm fine now that Uncle Wyatt and Griffin came to the rescue."

Luke looked up at Wyatt and Griffin as tears streaked down his face.

"Thank you, both of you."

"Of course, Luke, we're family and family looks out for each other and besides, Griffin was the one with the rope."
