After what had felt like forever, the storm finally moved passed as Wyatt and Amelia pulled apart.

"Finally, calm after the storm!"

Just then, a loud rumbling sound made Amelia turn around in the direction that the noise was coming from.

"What's going on?"

She heard a huge herd of cows being driven over the hill.

"They did it!"

Amelia's joy had suddenly turned to alarm as she noticed that the herd was being driven straight towards her. She jumped into the fray, herding the cows back toward the pasture as Wyatt caught her eye and smiled.

"Looks like you knew how to do this all your life."

"I have an amazing teacher."

Together, everybody accompanied the cows back to the main barn, the only one that was still in good condition as everyone looked relieved and joyful that the cows were back home in the barn. As there was a lot of cheering and high fives as everyone reunited, Luke and Wyatt hung onto each other for a few minutes.

"You okay, big brother?"

"I am now, that was an intense situation but we made it through."

"We did!"

"I thought I was going to get blown away due to the wind."

"You okay, Amelia?"

"Better than before."

"You guys!"

Everybody went quiet and turned as they saw Theresa standing in the doorway of the open barn with a jacket on.

"Theresa?"

"The hospital just called and it's about Grandpa!"

The next morning after a challenging night of herding the cows back home in the middle of an intense rainstorm, the Birchwoods and Amelia rushed to the hospital after getting freshened up and dressed to visit Clint who was in stable condition.

"Clint!"

"Good to see you, Dad!"

"Yeah, yeah, did you bring me something to good to eat?"

"I've never been so glad to here you complain again."

Wyatt and Luke hugged Clint gently.

"The surgery went well which I got to take it easy for now on."

"I'm so glad you're okay, Grandpa!"

"You gave us quite a scare."

"So, what'd I miss?"

Wyatt and Luke looked at each other as they were unsure how to start the news so Amelia gave the news to Clint.

"I'll give you the bad news first. There was a huge rainstorm and the cattle got loose because the fence was broken which we had some difficulties but managed to round them back up."

"I see and how did the fence end up broken?"

"The barn burned down which Land Corps had something to do with the fence and the barn."

"Those conniving idiots!"

Clint took a deep breath to calm down as his pacemaker beeped as he was getting worked up after his surgery.

"Why would they burn our barn down for?"

Amelia looked at both Wyatt and Luke and they nodded.

"Wyatt and Luke told them that they wasn't selling the ranch."
