A week after saving the ranch from Land Corps, Amelia got an unexpected phone call offering her dream job back in Philadelphia.
"If this is my last time on the ranch then I definitely want to make the most of it!"
She looked through her clothes, unsure what to wear and then looked over at her trusty companion, Charlotte.
"What do you think, my friend?"
Charlotte still gave Amelia total silence as she changed into a outfit that was both country and casual after freshening up a bit.
"This is perfect!"
As Amelia looked at herself in the mirror, the thought that would be her last time to party with her friends had hit her but she shook herself out of her thoughts, squaring her shoulder.
"If this turns out to be the end, I'm gonna enjoy every last minute of it!"
She walked outside as she passed the freshly remodeled barn.
"I'm glad to see the ranch starting to get back to the way it was."
Finally, Amelia reached the party tent at a nearby meadow.
"It looks like everyone is here already!"
"That because they are since it's not a huge time."
"Everyone wanted to celebrate Land Corps' failure and the ranch remaining open."
"And Amelia's rocking new outfit."
Sarah winked at Amelia.
"And the end of a longtime feud!"
"Speaking of which, look who's here."
Amelia pointed over where Silvia and Thomas were showing up together as Silvia looked pleasant while she pulled an upset Thomas along by the arm.
"Clint!"
"Well, hello there and I see you brought your bookworm son!"
Thomas rolled his eyes and Silvia shoved his arm.
"Thomas, you can say hello, at least."
"Hello, at least."
"Oh, he's a entertainer too."
"Let's not let him ruin our time, Clint. Come on."
Silvia extended her elbow to Clint and he linked their arms together.
"Now, let's go see those performers up close!"
The two of them walked off in a slow tour of the party together leaving Thomas with Amelia and her friends.
"I really hate. this. a lot."
"Thomas, you can leave then. No one's keeping you here to talk to us and your mom won't notice."
"Excellent point!"
He walked off without saying anything else as Megan laughed and placed her arm around Amelia's shoulders.
"He just can't help being so..."
"Thomas-ish?"
"Yeah, glad to see that it's him and not me but now, let's go dance!"
They made their way over to dance floor where Max and Eva were already dancing.
"Damn, Amelia, you look amazing in that outfit."
"Max!"
"Thanks and by the way, you two are working it on the dance floor."
"Practice much?"
