"I opened my eyes as pain coursed through me.   My head hurt and my eyes were blurry. I didn't know where I was.  I could hear the conversation but couldn't understand anything. I was scared. I wanted you and wanted to call you. But when I tried my mouth felt coarse as if I swallowed sand.

Usra woke in a daze her mind muddled with only one name on her lips ARA... Her heart monitor was going crazy the night nurse came running into her room. She noticed Usra's eyes open she was struggling to breathe.  The Nurse quickly reduced the oxygen supply and rang for help.  She held her down so her convulsing body won't damage itself further.

"Usra you have to relax" a nurse spoke softly. "You are in the emergency care" she continues hoping her patient would listen.

The doctors and ward help rushed in.  They managed to sedate her.  Slowly as her body went back to sleep they managed to take a quick note of any damage.  Her vitals were stabilising. "Call her attendants" the doctor ordered.

Nurse May walked to the waiting room to check for the attendants. She scanned through the name list and called "Ms Arabella?"

Ara jumped at the sound of her name, heart racing she approached the nurse. Her mind had a hundred questions but her tongue was tied. They had reached that afternoon back to the hospital Gyan was by her side the whole day.  The news until that evening hadn't been good.  She was scared and was hoping she wouldn't have to deal with another loss.

"Hi," Gyan reached her holding her and supporting her. "This is Arabella and I'm Gyan" He introduced himself.

The nurse smiled at them with a kind smile "The doctor would like to meet you" she stated.

"Is she... " Ara broke off unable to declare the horrific words.

"She is stable" the nurse replied.  It didn't mean much it was neither good nor bad news so Ara nodded.  Tears flooded her eyes "Why does the doctor.... " she began and choked unable to complete her question.

Understanding her dilemma the nurse patted her folded hands.  "Nothing is wrong, keep the faith.  Come I will take you to the doctor" she added as she guided them both to the doctor's office.
