The next few days had been the struggle to accommodate each other. A lot of times when Siddharth would forget his promise Raiza started leaving notes for him to explain her feelings due to his actions. And Siddharth picked up her habit of leaving notes for her about his feelings. Things started to settle between them. Their notes gave her an idea of how she could express her past hurt and pain. One day she finally took a notebook and started writing her feeling and emotions about each incident. She decided to avoid blame and focus on the incident and express her hurt and pain. It took her three days to complete the entire letter she was writing to Siddharth. With a good deal of writing in her hand, she decided to surprise him with the letter. She wrapped it up in a nice gift cover and left it at his bedside in the night before going to sleep. She hoped he would notice and read it.
The next morning when she woke up she noticed the gift still at his bedside. His side of the bed was not slept in. She wondered what happened. She showered, dressed and walked to the kitchen with the gift-wrapped book in her hand. When she entered the kitchen it was empty.
"Sid" she called tentatively
"In here darling" he called from inside his home office.
She quietly stepped in and waited for him. He was on a call and looked stressed.
"Is everything alright?" she asked when the call was over.
He shook his head "I have to go to the office. Vidya has been troubling me about a client I wanted to bring in" he declared.
"Oh," she sounded disappointed.
"I will be back soon darling" he declared caressing her cheek and feeling happy about her need of him.
"You promise," she asked.
He nodded and hugged her holding her close to him.
"Have you slept?" she questioned.
He shook his head "I will sleep tonight after the meeting sweetheart. will you do me a favour and order something for your self?" he asked.
She smiled "Don't worry I will manage" she assured him.
He placed his forehead on hers and sighed "Trust me I don't want to go" he announced.
"Oh, you must Sid. You cant lose your business because of us. You go shower, I will make a quick breakfast for us" she reassured him.
Siddharth pulled her in and kissed her "I Love You" he confessed.
Raiza smiled "I Love You Sid' she confessed. Her confession of love swelled Siddharth's heart.
"Now, I don't want to go" he whined.
Raiza laughed "Go get on with it nutcase" she chided him and pushed him to the stairs.
Siddharth laughed as he climbed the stairs and walked into his room. Soon Riaza had made an omelette sandwich that Siddharth gobbled up and washed it down with some coffee.
"I will miss you" he announced before entering the garage and kissing her a good day.
Raiza managed to spend the afternoon finishing the design for the baby room. She called the regular store for curtains and baby furniture. They assured her it will all be delivered the next day. When she found nothing more to do, she walked into Siddharth's home office to clear the desk and dust. That is when she noticed the letter she had written to him.
"Oh shit, I didn't give him the letter" she slapped her forehead.
She thought for a few moments and decided to give him a surprise at his work. She looked at the clock it was past 2:00 PM. She called his mobile. No answer. She called his office someone picked up the call.
