Roli was in the kitchen helping Sujatha in preparing sweets and dishes.

Her stomach was crying for food.

She is not used to fasting...

On seeing the sweets & dishes, her hunger was increasing...

Roli: Maaji, why we need to stay hungry?

Sujatha: Roli, this is special function which we do for our husband.  We need to stay fasting the whole day and can eat only by evening.

ROli: How can we stay fasting the whole day Maaji?  you know i never stay empty stomach you know.

Sujatha: Roli as this is your first year and doing it for first time you are feeling like that.  But you see we keep fasting every year.

Roli: Every year.  you wont eat the whole day

Sujatha: Yes Roli.

ROli: My Goodness!  

Sujatha: Roli if you are feeling tired, you go to your room and take rest.  I will handle this. We are used to it.

Roli: I will help you for some more time and then will go.

Sujatha: Ok.

Roli helped her for some more time and then went to her room.

Siddhant was not there as he went out for some work.

Roli was feeling bored without him.

Roli: Siddhant where you go leaving me. You know i feel bored without you.

Sid: I am here only Roli.

SIddhant who just entered replied her and smiled.

Roli rushed towards him and hug him tightly.

Roli: You have come...

SId: Roli you miss me so much.

Roli: Hmmm

Siddhant made her sit and sat beside her.

Sid: Now you tell me whether you agree you love me.

Roli: No.  I dont.

Sid: but why?

Roli: I have not yet started loving you.

Sid: Then why you are missing me.

Roli: I am missing you as you are my friend.

Sid: Is it!  Ok.  Well.  Let me see how long you maintain it.

Roli: Hi Dude.  I am feeling hungry you know.

Sid: If you cant just leave and have some food.

Roli: No.  Maaji said it is for husband.  So i dont want to break the fasting.

Sid: So you are doing this for me.

Roli: Hmmm

Sid: This is not fair roli. You keep fasting also for me as a husband.  But i am not your husband and only friend.

Roli: Yes.  It is like that only.  You are only my friend.

Sid: You hug your friend.  You kiss your friend.

Roli: Of course i do hug & kiss this friend.

Sid: Ok Leave it.  Let you be my friend ok.

ROli: Siddhant where you went out.

Sid: Dont you know i went out and had lunch.  

ROli: You had food when i am hungry

Roli gave soft punches on his chest.

Sid: Hi ROli, why?  you expect me too to stay hungry with you.

Roli: yes.  When i am fasting for you, you too should do fasting for me right.  You are too bad.

She showed upset face and went near window.

Siddhant went behind her and hug her tightly.

Sid: Hi ROli, you think i will eat when you are hungry.

Roli: YOu mean, you did not eat anything.

Sid: Hmmm

Roli: Really.

Sid: Yes.  I just went out for some work.  Not to eat.  

Roli: But maaji said only fasting for us and not for you.  I will bring food for you and you have.

Roli tried to move from there.

SIddhant hold her hands and pulled her towards him.

He wrapped his hands around her.

Sid: Roli when you are hungry, i dont want any food.  I too will have food only with you ok.

ROli: But why?

Sid: Why?  I will tell you tonight.

 

Roli: Tonight!  Why not now?

Sid: Wait for the surprise till tonight.

Roli: SIddhant.. I cant wait.

Sid: you need to wait...

Roli: Hi tell me...

Sid: Will tell you tonight.  Ok.

He hit his forehead with her gently and smiled...
