Man, I had to admit that Carter West is a beautiful creature. Was he even human? Damn, was he perfect. I caught myself staring at him for the past five minutes of watching the football team with their training shit, i really don't know. I wasn't a sport child. I was more of the, 'i'd rather sleep' kid. He sent a smile towards my direction and I quickly looked around making sure it was me he was looking at before sending a smile back. He chuckled at my actions. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I stood up gathering my things to leave before I pull up something more stupid than what I just did. I'm so done fangirling.
"Alesia!" A voice called after me. I bit my lip, closing my eyes shut, "don't do anything stupid" I hissed to myself while pointing to my head as if I was talking to my brain.
"Hi" I beamed at Carter once I've turned around, he gave me a wave and walked towards me. His broad figure came close as I watched his perfect lips talk.
"So are you up for it?" I snapped out of it, blinking multiple times at him, "w-what?" I asked
"This Saturday?" he chuckled. What? A senior was asking me out. Fuck. And not just any senior but Carter West. Damn, is this even real?
"I'm about to wake up any minute now right?" I blinked once more. He ran a hand through his hair and tucked pieces of hair behind my ear.
"You're adorable and I'm pretty sure you're not dreaming. So, I'm taking that as a yes?" I nodded and stared at him punching the air muttering, 'yes's under his breath.
-
"Calum" I mumbled. His big brown irises shot up to from his phone to look at me, "so I was wondering if you didn't have any plans this Thursday?"
He shook his head no, "Nope, not at all. What's up?" He asked.
"Well, I was wondering if you'd go to the mall with me. I know its a girl best friend's type of role to go pick dresses and all but I think you can cope because-"
His mood fell but he managed to pick it up after seconds of thinking. He sent me an 'obviously' fake smile, "you can go with Mali, if you'd like? she's dropping by on wednesday and she'll be here until sunday."
"But-"
"It'll be fun, Al. I'm just not good for those shopping shit. I'm a guy remember? And thursday is a school day which means I need to study." He started babbling.
"You don't study, Cal" I stated. It was beyond a fact that Calum doesn't study. Not even for a huge test nor quiz. He shrugged in return, running out of things to say.
He started typing on his phone, "Mali's excited to do some catching up with you" he smiled, "why are you going to the mall on a thursday again?"
"Well, uhm. You see" he arched an eyebrow, "Carter kind of asked me out on a date on Saturday and I just wanted to look good and presentable. Help me" I squeaked
"Oh" he said blankly, "have fun" he stood up and stared at me, "so we're going to have to break up?" he asked with his eyebrows furrowed together.
I bursted out laughing, wiping the tears forming at the corners of my eyes at the process, "yes we do, Cal, baby"
I forgot the fact that we were pretending to be together just so Steven would get his ass away from me. Nope, I want nothing to do with his ass. Shut up.
"I'm so done with you. We're breaking up" he mimicked a voice of a girl from one of those breaking up scenes you see in movies. He pretended to wipe tears from his eyes and peeked an eye at me, I arched an eyebrow at him.
"Idiot" he muttered, "oh!" I beamed. I walked towards him and pretended to wipe his tears away, "baby, please don't cry. We can still be friends. Or maybe best friends? You up for that?"
"No," he pretended to choke out from sobs, "no I'm just kidding, of course" we started bursting out in laughter because of the fact of how stupid we looked and the fact that we were so lame.
