The night was dark, and the sounds were loud, as a boy on a horse gallops like the wind across the ground.

The horse was foaming at the mouth from running so hard. Behind the pair was many other horses and men upon their backs.

These were some Telmarines, the enemies of everyone else around, of which there were not many.

A pair of fiery red eyes, were now watching the Telmarine boy, until the Telmarines got lost.

Most chose to turn back, while the boy was knocked off of his horse, and he lay there, winded.

Two of them returned, and one of the two dwarves went to meet them in an duel, while the boy scrambled for the horn.

"NO!" The other shouted, and the boy was already blowing it, with all of the air in his lungs available.

The pair of red and fiery eyes leapt out of the shadows, and a White Wolf was revealed, and it unhorsed one of the Telmarines effortlessly.

With all but a single slash, the Telmarine was dead, and the wolf was turning to the boy, who was looking at the wolf, clearly knowing it was a female, terrified of it.

"You know not of what you have done." A female voice said, and the White Wolf was just gone, and now, an young girl.

18 years strong, stood up in it's place, and the boy gasped, and scrambled to run. "Calm yourself."

She said, and he looked at her. "Who are you?" He asked, and she looked at him.

"Once, I was known as the White Wolf. Once I was known as the one and only Stormwalker. Once, I was known as the Protector."

She said, and he looked at her. "You are the one. The White Wolf. The one who protected the ancient kings and queens of old."

Caspian said, and the girl nodded solemnly at him.  "But how have you not aged?"

He asked, and Silver looked at him.

"My secrets are my own. But it does have something to do with my chosen shape. It also has to do with the four children." I said, and he looked at me.

"I must find them, but you all must stay hidden. Your uncle will be search for you."

"Far and wide he will, but I have my own people to look for, and watch out for. Stay hidden."

Silver said, and Caspian nodded.

"I am Prince Caspian."

He said, and Silver nodded. "I am Silver Storm." She said, and raced off as a wolf again, going towards the ruins of Cair Paravel.

{Silver's POV}

As I ran towards the age old castle, I felt as if I had been reborn again as a True Protector.

It is all ruins, just as it had been 900 years ago, when it first fell, but it was still such an amazing, and beautiful place.

I was loping along the beach, until I saw a familiar set of four. I stopped, and just stared at them.

I think that they stopped cold, when they saw me. "Is that?..." Peter said as Lucy looked at me. "Silver?!"

She yelled, and I knew the time wasn't yet right, so I ran up the cliff side, and ran into the darkness of the shadows.

I went back to human, and I felt the shoestring around my neck, a wire of the finest leather, and I looked down at the end of it, and saw the ring, that I still carried with me.

I saw that, just before they came up to the cliff, and into the ruins, that Peter, had found his in his pocket again.

"That's one of the two rings. The other you gave to Silver." Susan said, and he nodded. "I wonder why... if it is really her... why is she running from us?"

He asked, and held the ring, quite tightly in his hand, before taking an extra shoestring, and tying the ring around his neck.

I felt tears running down my face now in full flow, but I could not do anything about it.

I walked away as my wolf form, ready, and waiting for them, to once again discover the secrets, of the new for them of course, ruins in Narnia.

I watched them, Peter especially, as they all walked through the ruins, as they tried to remember, who it was, that lived here.

"I wonder who lived here." Lucy said, and I growled quiet, not loud enough, to be heard, but just loud enough for myself to be satisfied.

I saw Susan pick up the chess piece, that I had rolled onto the grass next to the old window, and she looked at it.

"I think we did." She said, holding it up, as Lucy and the others came over to her.

"Hey, that's mine. From my chess set."

Edmund said, taking it from Susan.

"Which chess set?"

Peter asked, and I covered my mouth with a paw to stifle the laughter. "Well I didn't exactly have a solid gold chess set in Finchley, now did I?"

Edmund asked, holding the chess piece in his hands now, before putting it into his pocket.

"Can't be." Lucy said, and I could see her connecting the dots in her mind, as if her brain was working outside, of her head.

They all went to the Thrones, well what was left of them anyways, and Lucy moved them all into place.

"Don't you see? Imagine walls. And columns, there." She said and moved herself into her spot.

"And a glass roof." She said, and I smiled from the shadows, as all four of them stood as one, in their rightful spots, as Kings and Queens of Narnia.

"Cair Paravel." Peter said, and I stepped out of the shadows as a wolf, and they looked at me.

"Is it you?" He asked, and I lowered my head, in both a nod, and a bow.

I stood up slowly, and my crown was still upon my head. "Silver Storm." Ed said, and I smiled. "Edmund." I said as he came over and hugged me. "You've grown." I said, rubbing his head.

"Silver." I heard Susan say, and I smiled at her. "Hello Susan." I said, and she hugged me gently.

I hugged her, and I saw that Lucy was running towards me and I opened my arms, and she cannoned into me, and I fell onto my back, laughing.

"I missed you as well Lu." I said, and she hugged me. "Silver." Peter said, as I let Lucy up, and stood up with her.

"Spoken like a true King as always High King Peter." I said and I hugged him. The others, perhaps sensing the tension, walked away from us.
