{Silver's POV}

I walked alongside Peter and Edmund with Caspian now. "It's good, you have troops but we need some good, strong fortifications. Somewhere to train."

Peter was saying, and I looked at him. "Trust me, we have somewhere good, and you might just recognize parts of it." I said, as we walked along.

"Well, what are they like?" Nikabrik asked Trumpkin, and I listened from far up ahead.

"Malcontents, complainers, stubborn as mules, in the morning." Trumpkin said, and I looked at him.

"Trumpkin!" I called out, and he said nothing else negative. "The eldest has a quick temper, but Silver can temper it, him, like nothing we've ever seen."

He said, and Nikabrik looked at him.

"I think it has something to do with those rings." Nikabrik said, and I felt a  familiar wistfulness that came from wanting the good old days back.

"What? You think he proposed to her before he left Narnia?" Trumpkin asks and his voice sounded incredulous.

I looked at Peter, who was talking to Caspian, and I looked to my other side and saw Edmund, who looked like he was deep in thought. "You alright?"

I asked, and he looked at me. "Are you okay? You've lost your people twice in the last two days."

He said, and I looked at him. "But I got the best people in my life back." I said, and he smiled at me.

I lay my head on his shoulder, and he smiled, as I stood up straight again, as we continued to walk.

I saw Edmund looking at me, and Lucy looked at me, and smiled. "He likes you. Always has."

She said, as the whole army walked along with us, ready to protect us. It reared up above us, Aslan's How, as we all walked towards it.

Caspian stayed back, as Peter with Susan, Lucy, Edmund and I walked forward, and they looked straight ahead.

"Welcome. To Aslan's How." I said and they smiled, as they looked around in, awe of it all.

"It may not be what you are used to, but it is defensible." Caspian said, and I growled at him warningly.

"It's not like what Cair Paravel was, but it is a home for many of us." I said, and Peter nodded at him, and me as well.

"Peter. You may want to see this."

Susan said, and I followed Peter over to where the others were. It was all of the carvings, of the old times, when a peaceful reign was.

"It's us." Susan said, and I nodded.

"I made many of these myself." I said, tracing the coronation carving, as my fingers stopped on the Thrones.

"To the glistening eastern sea. Queen Lucy the Valiant." I said and Lucy was shaking from the memories.

"To the great Western wood, King Edmund the Just." I said, and Edmund nodded at me.

"To the radiant Southern Sun, High Queen Susan the Gentle." I said, and Susan said nothing, and just looked at me.

"And. To the clear Northern sky, High King Peter." I said, and they all looked at each other, and then hugged me.

"What is this place?"

Lucy asked, after they had stopped.

"You don't know?" I heard Caspian say, and I shook my head. "I thought we should show them, rather then.."

I said, and he nodded. "Follow me."

He said, and the others followed him and I as I walked with them, and I felt the pain returning.

We went down the stairs, and I saw the familiar statues around us, that I knew they would see soon enough.

It had everyone, from Mr Tumnus, to Aslan, and the Beavers as well. But in the middle of the room, was the Stone Table, still cracked.

"He must know what he's doing." She said and I lowered my head in respect and I nodded.

"I think it's up to us now. And Silver."

He said, as we all looked at the statue of Aslan once more, before we walked out of the crypts and back to the How.
