17~ Because I Love You

Yet again I've been forced into publishing a day earlier by @foundtheavacadoes sooooo here ya go.

I sighed as I slowly hobbled out of the Hospital, leaning heavily on my crutches.

'Heh maybe if this happens again I'll actually die- third time's a charm'

I could feel Jason's shocked gaze on me as he stopped and turned- his wide fearful eyes trained on me.

'Oh Percy' he said gently

I laughed

'I'm joking! Relax Jase I don't actually want to die'

I heard him release his breath, exhaling heavily. A small frown scrunched up his face.

'Please don't joke like that, I couldn't bear to lose you'

I gave a half-hearted smile, I knew he didn't believe me.

Well done twat

'Give me your hand Percy, I'll help you in'

'You don't have to y' know'

Jason gave me a kind smile

'I want to'

I gave him my hand, allowing him to help me into the front seat. I winced at the strain, trying to keep the pain off my face- I didn't want to worry him.

It didn't work

'I'm sorry' he softly whispered as he brushed my hair out of my eyes, staring tenderly into them.

'It's not your fault'

He gave a sad smile.

I pulled him towards me, pulling him by his shirt until our noses were touching.

I stared intently at his eyes. I could feel sparks of electricity running through me, he's always had this effect on me.

I studied his face more, brushing his cheeks with my fingers- not caring if anyone saw.

I slowly brought my head closer to his, savouring the moment. We hadn't had a moment's privacy since I arrived in hospital.

'I love you, Jason Grace'

I felt euphoric as I laid a kiss on his lips, the electricity running through both of us crashing like waves. His lips began to move with mine as we lost all track of time, not having a care in the world.

'I love you' he whispered, pulling his lips off mine- brushing his fingers across my chin.

I sighed as he closed my door, heading round to his side. I brought my fingers to my mouth, relishing the thought of his lips on mine.

Jason's POV

'Percy!' I yelled, haphazardly sprinting through the corridors.

'Percy!' I shouted again, I was so preoccupied with the one thought consuming my mind I didn't notice the turn at the end of the corridor.

BAM

I slid straight into the wall, the rug moving from beneath me.

I heard a sickening crack as my shoulder hit the wall at an alarming speed.

Ow

I gave a slight whimper as I sat up, slowly rolling my shoulder.

'Jason?'
