Percy's POV

I clutched Jason's hand in mine, pulling him as close to me as possible.

'You ready?' I asked as the speeches slowly finished up.

'As I'll ever be' he laughed

I took a deep breath, preparing myself for a life without school.

In just a few minutes we'd be free.

'We did it! Perce we really did it!'

I smiled at him as we walked around the grounds, as graduated men.

'I can't believe it's over!' I said excitedly to Jason 'I mean, what do we do now?'

Jason gave my hand a quick squeeze 'I have an idea' he whispered into my ear.

I blushed red and he pulled me towards him, joining our lips together in a joyous kiss.

'I love you Percy Jackson'

I smiled

'I love you, Jason Grace'

Jason's POV

'Tea or Coffee?!'

I waited for a couple moments before Percy yelled back his answer.

I finished off my tea and began on his coffee.

Dark, but not black...

2 sugars...

I internally repeated his preference like a mantra inside my head. I don't know why though, he's told me so many times I know it like the back of my hand.

Finally, two mugs in hand I went to go sit next to him.

'So, congratulations on today seaweed brain'

He looked to me and beamed.

'Thank you, Superman, you weren't too bad yourself'

I rolled my eyes 'That's nice'

'I know I am aren't I?'

I rolled my eyes again.

We sat in comfortable silence for a few moments before I felt a slight weight in my lap. I looked down to see Percy's impish face grinning up at me.

I smiled down at him, starting to stroke his soft hair.

'Jase?' he asked, his voice quiet

'Yeah?' I answered, softly

'Would you ever want to get married?'

I frowned, an answer forming in my head.

'Yes, but it would have to be with someone really special. Which means I'd have to find them and that could take ages'

I heard Percy let out a sad sigh

'Hey' I whispered to him 'It's a good thing I've already found them then'

My eyes fluttered open quietly.

I looked next to me, Jason's beautiful frame next to me.

I checked the time, knowing he had work this morning.

I sighed at the clock, wishing I could spend more time with him.

I switched off the alarm and began to gently shake him.
