Chapter 3~Trapped

(Aizawa POV)
"Seriously...." I said as I stared Hizashi in his emerald green eyes.

"HAHAHAHA!!! So protective over a rabbit! A rabbit!!" He teased.

So it turned out that the noise they were heating had actually been a small rabbit, which was now resting in Hizashi's hands.

"Better to be protective than than dead..." I mumbled. I was really annoyed... and kinda embarrassed.

"Even though it was only a rabbit, I'm honored Shouta, that you would protect me.from such a vicious creature" He exclaimed as the rabbit sat still and calm in his hands and flicked its eyes from me, to him.

"Zashi. You better shut it before I shove a stick up your-"

"OKAY! OKAY! Jeez! Though that wouldnt be the worst thing~" he said flirtatiously and wiggled his eyebrows.

I knew he was joking. He and Nemuri (Midnight) made those jokes all of the time. It didnt help that Toshinori was feeding them jokes to begin with.

But hot dang it was nice.

WAIT WHAT?! AHH STOP!!

I turned my red face away from him, conicidentaly grabbing a rock.

"Shouta.... I was kidding.... please dont hurt me or Mc. Ducksworth-"

Hold up- w h a t?

I held the rock on my hand and turned towards him, my face returning to a normal color.

"Wait... did you just name the rabbit.... Mc. Ducksworth?" I asked completely forgetting my embarrassment and anger, being replaced with a more joyous feeling.

And a very confused feeling.

"So? He dosent seem to mind! Right Mc. Ducksworth!?" Just as those words escaped his lips, the rabbit bit his finger causing him to yell and drop it. It ran up beside my feet.

I couldnt help but let out my laughter "I think it disagrees"

"Shouta!!! That's not funny!!!"

"How about we name it... Carrots"

". . . Fine"

I smiled, well as much of a smile I would do when I dont feel like smiling.

"Alright then. Come on Carrots let's g-"

"SHOUTA!!"

Before I could even finish that thought, my body snapped back hurting my neck. It all happened so fast I didnt even see Zashi disappear.I fell on my face as a rope tightened around my foot and I was being drug back at the speed of a cheetah. The forest floor tore at my shirt, leaving it tattered and dirty. My chest and sides were covered in scrapes in cuts. I groaned in pain as I felt my neck nearly get stabbed.

Then suddenly there was no ground at all.

I had clenched my eyes shut and felt ropes against my back and waist, holding me.

I was hanging in a giant net with an extremely torn shirt and bloody skin.

Ow-

"Agh..." Not going to lie. This hurt. A lot.

Zashi.

Where is he?!

"Zashi?!" I yelled out. My voice was scratchy and hoarse. It hurt due to so many cuts.

I wont get anywhere with these wounds...

I began to slowly peel off my torn shirt. It was fairly easy but it stung where it stuck to the open flesh. I groaned through my gritted teeth as I removed all of the cloth, revealing just how bad that really was.

Jeez, I didnt think I would look this bad

"Shouta!!" I heard Hizashi yell from not too far away. I wanted to yell back but I didnt have the energy.

My shirt slipped from my grasp and fell through a hole in the netting, to the forest floor.

Just as he finally showed up.

"Sho.... are you okay?" he asked, concern spread across his face. His eyes scanned my bloody skin.

Was his face red?

"Mind helping me down?" I said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear me.

My whole body ached.

He nodded and ran out of my sight. I couldnt help but feel the instantaneous amount of extreme concern flash through me.

Please...
