We have a clear path to the hangar where the quinjet we're supposed to take is stationed. The only thing we need to do is to run across the airstrip. I never thought something as simple could be so hazardous. Bucky and I are the firsts to get moving, then we're followed by Sam. Soon enough, Steve, Wanda, Clint and Scott — the Ant-Man — are sprinting along with us as we leave the foe Avengers behind. At this point, I just can think about how fortunate we are to have made it so far without getting caught.

Nevertheless, our luck runs out when, in front of us, the android Vision draws a line with a laser forcing us to stop in our tracks.

"Captain Rogers," He speaks in a calm but severe voice. "I know you believe what you're doing is right. But for the collective good, you must surrender now."

The rest of his allies line up next to him. I'm doing my best to keep calm but I'm having a hard time. My anxiety spikes as soon as I notice that the Black Panther, T'Challa, has his sight fixed on Bucky and me. I know nobody wants to hurt anybody, but he is more than prepared to requite his father's life.

"What do we do, Cap?" I ask.

"We fight."

Steve is the one to take the initial step forward. The closer we get to the opposite team, the more we pick up our pace. I look at Bucky, running next to me. He also knows that T'Challa won't hesitate to attack him. We see him direct himself straight towards us. Once we are almost face to face, he jumps with his claws out, aiming for Bucky's neck, but before I can jump to block him, someone kicks me on the side and makes me fall.

The spandex clown.

I heard him calling himself the Spider-Man. I honestly don't care what his name is, I just know he's been a burden the whole time I've known him. I run towards him and he shoots one of his webs. It sticks to the metal part of my arm and since there's not that much distance between us, I'm able to tense the string and pull him forwards. He falls down when I tug the web and right before he can stand up straight, a red light surrounds him. A second later, he was being shoved across the airstrip. I catch Wanda moving her hands in his direction and irradiating the same red light I saw a moment ago. I nod at her as my way to thank her and I go straight for T'Challa, who, as I expected, is fighting Bucky.

They have their fists around each other's necks by the moment I make it next to them. I kick T'Challa behind the knees with enough strength to make him bend down. He lets go of Bucky and he takes the chance to clear up his name once more.
